✨ Victoria Day is back on Saturday 6 June from 10am to 4pm across Aldershot town centre — and it’s set to be a fairy-tale of a day! ✨
Get ready for mythical street performers, a fire-breathing dragon, whimsical woodland fairies, roaming storybook creatures, magical make-and-take crafts, Lego monster building, gentle storytelling, face painting, circus skills, bubble wizardry, the Post Office of Possibilities, the Shed of Stories, 60 craft and community stalls, world street food, live music and dancing across two stages, and a whole town centre brimming with storybook magic!
And don’t miss our folklore and fairy-tales themed carnival parade at 11am - a spectacular celebration of costumes, characters and the wonderful stories of our community.

Meet the extraordinary Department of Dreams! This magical storytelling installation is bursting with imagination — drawers of destiny to open, artifacts of inspiration to uncover, and a time-twisting mirror that just might reveal your tomorrow. Help the dream designers, the architects of inspiration, and the mappers of possibility plan out futures full of wonder, then send a postcard to your future self through the most marvellous machine in the realm. The Post Office is open between 10am and 4pm on Wellington Street.
The Shed of Stories – sponsored by Prospect

Overnight, a mysterious little shed appears… and when the doors swing open, stories tumble out, music spills into the air, and imagination sweeps through the crowd. This enchanting pop-up venue offers joyful story sessions throughout the day — and between performances, it transforms into a cosy family reading nook, complete with books and surprises waiting to be discovered. Stories take place in Princes Gardens throughout the day.

Settle in for fun, warm and immersive storytelling adventures filled with music, movement and sensory surprises. Amanda brings folklore tales to life with heart, humour and a touch of wonder, creating story moments that families remember long after the last page closes.
Stories take place near the bottom of Union Street throughout the day.
🎪 Steamship Circus
Have a spellbinding time with Steamship Circus in their Little Big Tent at Victoria Day on 6 June from 12.30-4pm, where you can try your hand at plate spinning, diablos, juggling, unicycling — and even the aerial hoop! Leap into the fun in Princes Gardens and discover a world of circus magic and marvellous make‑believe.
🤹♂️ Juggle Jake’s Circus Skills
Step into the story and join Juggle Jake at Union Yard, where you can test your balance, bravery and circus flair. While you’re there, explore community stalls hosted by local charities, each sharing the stories and work they bring to our town.
✨ FREE Activities across the Day
Enjoy a host of FREE activities at Victoria Day on 6 June! Children can get hands‑on with magical craft creations, build their own Lego monsters, and wave hello to the busy bees in their hives. You’ll also find fair rides in Princes Gardens (small charge applies) and classic vehicles on Princes Way from 1–4pm.
