It is my role to ensure the smooth running of your day, from the planning stage and discuss your personal requirements and throughout the day itself allowing you, your friends and family to enjoy your special day. The service I provide:

Arrive at the reception venue at least one hour prior to the arrival of the bride and groom
Receive the bride and bridegroom on
Liaise with the banqueting management team to ensure all is set up and ready
Greet the bride and groom on arrival with the traditional glasses of champagne
With friends and family and guiding them to arrival drinks reception area
Liaise with and supervise photography video services etc. Organise the receiving line and announce guests
Announce the entrance of the bride and groom
Announce all say Grace (if required)
Organise the cutting of the cake
Announce and assist with the toasts and speeches
Assisting the presentation a special gifts or flowers
Announce the first dance and handover to the DJ or band

I meet every bride and bridegroom in advance to go through the itinerary of the day in detail and help with speeches so that I can ensure your special day is just perfect. Civil Partnerships and Gay Weddings:

Whether are you are celebrating the gay wedding or lesbian wedding, the need for a Toastmaster becomes all the more beneficial when it comes to arranging the formalities of your day. Strange Wedding Traditions #28 Belgium

One of the most important and enduring traditions of the Belgium wedding is for the bride to carry a special handkerchief that has her name embroidered on it.

After the wedding this handkerchief is framed and hung on the wall in a place of honour. When the next female member of the bride’s family is to be wed, the handkerchief is removed from its frame, the new bride’s name is embroidered onto it, and it is passed down.
