Sadly my beautiful friend has stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, we've organised Tracy's Festival of Life as this is her passion, come and help her celebrate her life!
The treatment options are extremely limited but she is trialling chemotherapy to attempts to reduce the growth of the tumours.
Tracy is exploring a whole host of alternative therapies to make her life more comfortable and as they come at a cost the option to make donations during this event is available to attendees, but equally not necessary, your presence will be gratefully received.
All day live music, wear your festival best to come and celebrate with Tracy doing the thing she loves the best!
Daytime stall's including but not exclusive; The Pendle Mushroom Company - UK grown mushrooms, tinctures and salve's, Clare Alexandra Witchy Creations - beautifully hand crafted items, Amanda Guy a local children's author, Festival Braids by Kirstie, stunning funny braids with a clip in option, Mandy's Mandalas - hand crafted stunning mandala's, My Tropic Kit with CJ - offering complimentary mini massage sessions, Mary's Enchanted Garden - amazing items on offer from incense to trinkets and much more, Laura's Imagination Station face painting, kids crafts etc, All Glam clothing, glitter tattoo's, children's temp. tattoo's, face gems, Merchandise stall for your FoL Merch, more stalls being added by the day!
All stall holders are donating a raffle prize that your ticket/wristband automatically enters you into the draw!
Live musicians all day & into the evening until we reach the crescendo of two old school house DJ's from 8pm until close, it's going to be banging! Come dance your socks off and help Tracy celebrate her life in full colour!
The Wellness Area is not to missed; ABC Sound Healing are offering a complimentary Sound Bath to kick off the Festival of Life at 11am - not to be missed, bring a mat/blanket for your own comfort, there will be a number of Hatha Yoga Sessions running over the day with Helen - Muddy Boots, Mystic Ed & Magic Mandy will be on site for Oracle Card Readings, The Pendle Mushroom Company will be presenting a fantastic and informative talk on the healing benefits of mushrooms amongst other things (I don't feel able to give this the valid description required, apologies Ade), Tarot Card Readings by the beautiful Louise Rose, Reiki and Mediumship from Mandy - Elysium of Light, Interactive talks on Laughter Yoga and Journal Journey - Diane Fairhurst-Kirk, Reflexology with Christopher - Ten Feet Tall Reflexology and various session by the beautiful Amy Proudfoot - Rise Strong, Empowering Women; singing, interpretative dance and informative talk on Conscious Consumption.......to name but a few! Not to be missed!!!!
Delicious fresh food will be available from the Fabulous Amico Mio Pizza Van that will include; Stone baked pizza, Mozzarella dippers, skin on/truffle fries, popcorn chicken, Mrs Dawsons ice cream and soft drinks.
You are welcome to bring your own food and drink to the venue, including alcohol.
Please place all litter in the bins provided.
Take only memories; leave only footprints!
No dogs allowed on site.
There will be numerous opportunities throughout the day to win amazing prizes donated from our awesome local community; 12 month membership for The Fitness Bank, and another for Girls on Top (women only gym), 12 sessions of Reiki, Children's Sleepover TeePee's, 4 Holistic Therapy Sessions, and many vouchers for various things inc. sunbeds, hair, beauty, Caspian, Tattoo, pamper sessions, teeth whitening, make-up, florists, meals and much more!
