World Horse Welfare Belwade Farm Belwade Farm is one of World Horse Welfare's four UK Rescue and Rehoming Centres. Belwade Farm is home to around 65 horses in need at any one time.

Set in the stunning countryside of Royal Deeside, Belwade is a great place to discover the charity's work first hand and spend a day with the family. Here they can undergo rehabilitation before finding loving new homes through World Horse Welfare's rehoming scheme. Why not come and meet them and find out more about the work we do to help the horses of today and tomorrow? The farm is open Wednesday

s, Saturdays and Sundays, from 11am to 4pm, and admission is £3 per person (under 5's go free). Admission includes a meet the ponies session in Hamish's Shed at 1pm (subject to staff availability). Our wonderful Highlands Bistro is open Wed-Sun, 11am - 4pm and serves lunch from 11:30am - 3pm. Our entire farm is dog friendly, so the whole family can enjoy a lovely day out! Please note we cannot process reports about horses in distress via social media - if you are concerned for the welfare of a horse you can find out how to report a situation to us by visiting www.worldhorsewelfare.org/report.

Don't forget our tack sale is happening this Saturday 13th June from 11:00am.

Come along and pick up a bargain, all proceeds go towards helping horses and ponies in our care.

The café will also be open for light lunches and delicious homemade cakes 🍰

Our next educational workshop will be on Wednesday 24th June at 12:00pm. This will be an introduction to Groundwork where our team will cover basic groundwork skills including lunging and how to long rein. There will be the chance to have a go at this demo so make sure you bring a riding hat and gloves if you wish to take part.

We are excited to announce homemade cakes are back on the menu in the café, enjoy a delicious fresh cream, blueberry and kiwi sponge, or one of our other delicious sweet treats.

Make the most of your visit and enjoy a walk around the farm and meet our friendly horses and ponies along the way.

All proceeds from the café go towards helping horses and ponies on the farm so your treat helps directly towards all our horses and ponies in our care.

We are hosting a tack sale on Saturday 13th June from 11:00am - 02:00pm. We have a selection of tack, rugs, equipment and saddles for sale, come along and pick up a bargain.

☕️ Volunteer Coffee Morning ☕️

Have you ever thought about volunteering at Belwade Farm, we are currently looking for volunteers to help in the Visitor Centre duties would include: covering reception, helping organise the second hand tack shop, offering farm tours and helping out at fundraising events.

Join us at our volunteer coffee morning on Wednesday 3rd June between 11:00am and 1:00pm and meet our friendly visitor centre and cafe team and find out more about our volunteering opportunities and enjoy a coffee and cake.
