Poetry Courses – Applications Now Open

From introductory workshops to six-week advanced programmes led by established professionals, The Poetry School offers a full range of creative writing courses for poets at every stage of their development.

Courses are available both in-person in Aberystwyth, Wales, and online via our bespoke virtual classroom—providing flexible options for writers based anywhere.

To apply, please send a short statement of interest along with a one-page sample of your poetry to [email protected].

Gŵyl Farddoniaeth Aberystwyth Poetry Festival 2024 is officially finished and we cannot express enough how thankful we are for everyone that was involved 🥰✨

Firstly, to the amazing venues who hosted our events and made the festival possible. The Llyfrgell Ceredigion Library were such gracious hosts, they made it so easy for us to run the events and kept us so calm and joyful, they just went above and beyond for us. Not to forget the beautiful who hosted our headline event and allowed us to use the most stunning room with an even more stunning view 🌊✨
