If you are seeking a family-friendly fun day out with your canine companion, join us at our Companion Canine Capers at the Sioe Aberystwyth & Ceredigion County Show on Saturday, 13th June 2026.
We have lots of fun classes and Have A Go activities where both crossbred and purebred dogs can enter, and we even encourage disabled dogs to come and be part of the fun day, aswell as those with assistance dogs!
Dog Section activities will start at 11am, with a short presentation by Mind Aberystwyth about their valuable work. The Have A Go Fun activities and class judging will follow shortly afterwards.
Dog Show entries are taken in the ring on the day, at £1 per class.
Participate in the 'Have A Go' Fun Activities for £1 per go, with a rosette awarded.
This year’s chosen charity is MIND Aberystwyth www.mindaberystwyth.org, and thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Dog Section, we can donate all funds raised on the day directly to the charity. 😃

Use Entrance A off the A44 and follow signs to the Dog Section, which is located by the river near the main public entrance this year. Please see the map below.
