I came to live in Scotland 23 years ago and was instantly captivated by the wild and beautiful landscape of my new home. The wonderful sense of endless space, combined with a stark beauty gives me a feeling of the elemental force of nature in all its beauty and power. In establishing Wilderness at Heart and creating our own range of Scottish home scents, we wanted to c
apture the real essence of this unique country. To bring the spirit of the Scottish landscape indoors, by creating a collection of candles, soaps and home fragrances that really do reflect the wonders of this special place. We, at Wilderness at Heart are artisan candle makers creating one off pieces, sourcing and collecting vintage glassware from all over the country to use in making bespoke candles for weddings and events. We really work hard to seek out rare pressed and moulded glass to add an extra, unique dimension into our permanent collection of filled scented candles and diffusers. Our natural wax candles are made with the best quality ingredients and lovingly hand poured and crafted, with many wonderful extracts and essential oils to create harmonious scents for your home. The range also includes vegetable based soaps and room diffusers all handmade using the highest quality ingredients. The fragrances used in our collection are created to reflect the true character of Scotland and are inspired by many elements that you can find in this fabulous, wild landscape. Every product is carefully handmade in Scotland to our own special recipes so that you can have your own little piece of Wilderness in your Heart and Home.
