Well… where did that summer go?! 😭💛

After taking a little summer break to enjoy some precious time with my little boy, Bargains for Bairns is officially waking back up! 👶🧸🛍️

I hope you’ve all had a lovely summer, whether you’ve been away, had days out, made memories at home or simply survived the summer holidays with the kids! 😂🙌

The kids are heading back to school on 17th August, which means it’s time for us to start thinking about our next Bargains for Bairns event! 👀

I’m hoping to get an October event organised, so we can all get back together for another morning of bargains, pre-loved goodies and a good old rummage! 🛍️💛

But before we get back to business…

We’re excited to share a first look at what’s coming up in Aberdeen 👶✨

📅 September (Back to School & Autumn clear-out)

📅 December (Pre-Christmas Special – perfect for gifts & winter bargains)

These are rough dates for now while we finalise venues, but we wanted to give you early notice so you can plan ahead.

🎟️ Seller bookings will open soon – and previous sellers will get first priority before we go public.

📢 We’re growing… and we’d love your help! 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our recent Bargains for Bairns event at Cairncry Community Centre. Seeing families, sellers and shoppers come together to support affordable, sustainable shopping for children has been fantastic. 🙌

As we continue to grow, we’re looking at where to hold future events across Aberdeen and the surrounding areas. Our goal is simple: bring Bargains for Bairns to communities where families will benefit most and create bigger, busier events each time. 🛍️✨

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Bargains for Bairns event yesterday! We hope you picked up some fantastic bargains and treats for your little ones, enjoyed the goody bags, and treated yourselves to some delicious cakes from the café too. 🧸☕

A special thank you goes to the wonderful team at Cairncry Community Centre for all their hard work and support, and to our amazing sellers for bringing along such fantastic items and creating a great shopping experience for everyone.

We're also incredibly grateful to those who donated unsold items at the end of the event. These have now been passed on to Barnardo's in Aberdeen, helping local children and families who need them most. ❤️

Most importantly, thank you to every single person who attended and supported the event. We want to keep growing Bargains for Bairns and making each event even better than the last.

If you attended as a buyer, we'd be so grateful if you could leave us a review on our page and share your feedback. Your reviews really help us reach more families and continue bringing these events to the community.

Join us from 11am–1pm at Cairncry Community Centre for our Bargains for Bairns Baby & Children's Second-Hand Sale!

⏰ Don't leave it too late – the best bargains are usually snapped up first, and we're only here for a few hours!

✨ Over 10 tables packed with amazing pre-loved baby and children's items
✨ Face painting
✨ Henna tattoos
✨ Glitter tattoos
✨ Café open for teas, coffees and treats
✨ Free parking
✨ Friendly, family atmosphere

🎟️ Entry is just £2 per adult, which includes your ticket into our fantastic prize raffle bundle!

And remember, if you win something you don't need, we're all about sustainability, reusing and regifting. Simply donate it back and we'll add it to a future prize bundle for another lucky winner.

We're a pop-up event and we're not here every week. If you miss today's sale, you'll be waiting a few months for the next one!

We'll be chatting about what our event is all about, why we do it, and how we're helping families give quality pre-loved children's items a new home while supporting the local community.
