ESOF is a transdisciplinary science forum created in 2004 by EuroScience.

The EuroScience Open Forum (ESOF) is a transdisciplinary science forum which offers a safe space and independent arena for open and critical dialogue on science, scientific practice and its impact on society. It is an inspirational melting pot which generates new ideas and actions for the future of science. It’s the largest event of this kind in Europe and brings together scientists, policymakers and all other stakeholders of science and technology including the general public. As a truly pan-European event, every ESOF edition is organised in a different European city to highlight the richness and diversity of the European research landscape and foster mutual learning .
