Palestine Showcase at The 16th Durban FilmMart SA pitch and finance forum.

Amid the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people, the relentless attacks on Gaza, and the escalating threats to the Palestinian narrative, the Palestine Film Institute (PFI) reaffirms the vital role of cinema resistance.

For the second consecutive year, PFI, in partnership with Durban FilmMart, is proud to present the Palestine Showcase at the Durban Film Market (July 18–21, 2025). This initiative underscores our commitment to supporting Palestinian filmmakers and ensuring their stories reach international audiences, funders, and decision-makers.
We invite Palestinian filmmakers and producers (regardless of citizenship), as well as projects centered on Palestine, to submit their feature film projects in development (fiction) for consideration. Selected projects will have the opportunity to pitch to a curated audience of industry leaders, festival programmers, and potential financiers.

An international jury will choose up to three projects, which will receive:
Strategic coaching from PFI industry experts.
Accreditation, accommodation, and logistical support to attend the Durban FilmMart in Durban city in South Africa between July 18-21.

دعوة لتقديم مشاريع أفلام روائية قيد التطوير
ضمن عرض فلسطين في الدورة السادسة عشرة من سوق مهرجان داربن للأفلام -
منتدى تقديم العروض والتمويل في سوق داربن السينمائي بجمهورية جنوب أفريقيا.
في ظل الإبادة الجماعية المستمرة بحق شعبنا الفلسطيني والتهديدات المستمرة لروايتنا الفلسطينية، تؤكد مؤسسة الفيلم الفلسطيني على الدور الحيوي للسينما الفلسطينية ونضالاتها.
للسنة الثانية على التوالي، تفخر مؤسسة فلسطين للأفلام، بالشراكة مع سوق داربن فيلمارت، بتقديم عرض فلسطين في سوق مهرجان داربن السينمائي (18-21 يوليو 2025) بجمهورية جنوب أفريقيا. تؤكد هذه المبادرة التزامنا بدعم صانعي الأفلام الفلسطينيين وضمان وصول قصصهم إلى الجمهور الدولي والممولين وصناع القرار.
ندعو صانعي الأفلام والمنتجين الفلسطينيين (بغض النظر عن جنسياتهم)، بالإضافة إلى الأفلام التي تركز على قصة فلسطين، إلى تقديم مشاريع أفلامهم الروائية قيد التطوير. ستتاح للمشاريع المختارة فرصة تقديم عرضها للجمهور من رواد صناعة السينما ومبرمجي المهرجانات و الممولين المحتملين.
ستختار لجنة تحكيم دولية ثلاثة مشاريع، وستحصل على:
تدريب استراتيجي من خبراء صناعة الأفلام في المؤسسة.
ستقوم مؤسسة الفيلم الفلسطيني بتوفير بطاقة اعتماد من المهرجان، وتغطية للإقامة، وجزء من تكاليف السفر ودعم لوجستي لحضور معرض داربن للأفلام في مدينة داربن بجنوب أفريقيا، بين 18 و21 يوليو.

Le cinéma palestinien au Festival La Rochelle Cinéma !

DU CÔTÉ DE LA PALESTINE ... au

La parole est donnée à des cinéastes palestiniens à travers 7 longs et 2 courts métrages tournés ces cinq dernières années .

Deux œuvres collectives complètent cette programmation : le documentaire oscarisé No Other Land, acte de résistance d’un collectif de militants palestino-israéliens et From Ground Zero, projet lancé par le réalisateur Rashid Masharawi après les attaques du 7 octobre 2023 qui rassemble de très courts métrages pour rendre compte du quotidien des Gazaouis.

The Palestine pavilion returns to the 78th Festival de Cannes between 13-24 May to shed light on Palestinian images, narratives and voices that refuse to be extinguished. The PFI is driven by the mission to amplify the heartbeat of Palestine’s cinema, nurture its vision, and champion its right to illuminate screens worldwide. Amidst the relentless genocide perpetrated against our people in Gaza, the struggle to preserve the Palestinian narrative continues. With resilience and love, Palestine’s soul continues to speak, dream and realise our future, through the lens of our filmmakers.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to everyone who contributed to bringing this project to life—created in a time of hardship, during the genocide in Gaza.
