Curtain call for La Fabrique – “Beyond the Ephemeral” 🇫🇷🇸🇦
On January 21, La Fabrique opened its doors in Riyadh.
Alongside the French Institute in Saudi Arabia, Havas Events supported this first edition, a project born from Franco-Saudi dialogue. Conceived as a space for shared creation, La Fabrique embodied the idea that the ephemeral can become lasting memory, and that art is something we built together.
A living workshop, designed as a place for encounters and experimentation: performances, music, visual arts, cinema, dance, workshops, conversations...
Over the course of three weeks, a rich and eclectic program came to life across three purpose-built spaces: Movement Space, Digital Gallery, and Majlis.
Digital artists, musicians, dancers, actors, poets, philosophers followed one another on stage, offering a vibrant panorama of contemporary Franco-Saudi creation.
An unforgettable finale: Mosaïk by the Käfig Company
For its closing night, La Fabrique pulsed to the rhythm of Mosaïk, a creation by the Käfig Company exploring movement through contrast and balance.
The meeting of the artistic worlds of .co and came to life through 16 Saudi dancers, whose collective energy was truly exceptional.
A project that will remain a cornerstone of intercultural dialogue through movement and artistic creation.
An ambitious first edition... already looking ahead🌟
La Fabrique stands as a necessary, bold, and deeply human Franco-Saudi initiave, one that resonated with all who experienced it.
A space that continues to regenerate and reinvent itself, promising an even richer, more open, and more inspired edition in 2027.
