BESTSELLER Logistics Center West, Lelystad has won the 2026 for Best Industrial & Logistics Project.

Designed by Henning Larsen for global fashion company BESTSELLER, the project reimagines the industrial building as an integrated landscape and a high‑performance workplace.

Located on the Dutch island of Flevopolder, the 155,000 sqm facility is Europe’s largest timber logistics centre. Built primarily from mass timber and other bio‑based materials, the project prioritises carbon efficiency and biodiversity, with over 40% of the site dedicated to landscape -including an encircling wetland and a meadow roof.

Fresh thinking is starting to reshape even the basics of the built environment.

In this blog post, Bora Gülan from TK Elevator looks at elevators in a new light: how they influence the ways buildings perform and cities function - and not just as a functional element of a space.

As urban environments grow more complex, vertical mobility is playing a larger role in how people move, how buildings connect, and ultimately how value is created across entire developments.

This shift reflects a broader industry evolution, moving from isolated buildings to more connected, integrated environments.

Designed by Franklin Azzi Architecture and developed by Redevco, BPM brings together offices, retail, a lifestyle hotel, urban logistics, and a green rooftop within a single interconnected ecosystem.

Targeting BREEAM Excellent, the project integrates technical innovation to improve user wellbeing and environmental performance - a vision reinforced by the building now being 100% leased.
