Of course, Power Games is a skydiving event. But there’s another side to it, and it’s just as important and just as wonderful as jumping from nearly intact aircraft.
Let’s just call it the social aspect. You don’t just meet like-minded people; you reconnect with friends from all over the world whom you’ve grown fond of over the years, enjoy spending time together, eat (too) much delicious food, have a beer or two, and have a wonderful time even on the ground. Just like our Dieter here, chatting with the legendary Jerry Bird, who can rightly be called the “Father of Modern Day Skydiving.”
And we managed to bring the traditional chicken dinner - jokingly referred to as the “Chicken Disaster” - that we always hold in Klatovy to America as well.
As expected, the grill was, of course, much bigger than the one in Klatovy.
