Juste une discussion, au coin d’une rue à Paris.
On lance le micro,
et les souvenirs reviennent tout seuls.
Aujourd’hui avec Lucille.
Pas de Solex à elle,
mais beaucoup de trajets sur le porte-bagages de ses amis,
à la sortie du lycée ou pendant les vacances.
Pour elle, le Solex fait partie du décor des années 70.
Celui qu’on croisait partout :
sur le chemin du marché,
devant l’église le dimanche matin,
ou garé devant le lycée.
Et à l’époque, c’était clair :
le Solex, c’était le plus chic de tous 😄

A random conversation, somewhere in Paris.
We hit record,
and the memories start flowing.
Today with Lucille.
She never had a Solex of her own,
but she spent plenty of time riding on the back of her friends' bikes,
after school and during summer holidays.
To her, the Solex is part of the landscape of the 1970s.
The kind of thing you’d see everywhere:
on the way to the market,
outside church on a Sunday morning,
or parked near the local school.
And back then, one thing was certain:
the Solex was the stylish one 😄
