Ivan Semiletov (b. 1980, Minsk, Belarus) is a Belarusian artist whose practice spans painting, tapestry, monumental art, and book illustration.
He received his artistic education at the I. Akhremchik Republican College of Arts and subsequently graduated from the Faculty of Textile and Decorative and Applied Arts at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts. Since the age of seventeen, Semiletov has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions.
In 2004, he was awarded the Grand Prix at the Republican Exhibition Journey, marking a significant milestone in his artistic career. His multidisciplinary body of work reflects a sustained engagement with both traditional and contemporary artistic languages, encompassing easel and monumental painting, textile art, and graphic works.
Semiletov lives and works in Minsk. He is a member of the Belarusian Union of Artists and the international artists’ association "Sunny Square".
His works are represented in the collections of the National Art Museum of Belarus, the National Centre for Contemporary Arts of Belarus, the Museum of Contemporary Russian Art (USA), as well as in numerous private collections across Europe and North America, including those in the United States, Portugal, Germany, Austria, and Italy.
In addition to his artistic practice, Semiletov has contributed to cultural and educational initiatives as a jury member of the children's art competition We Are the World in Bélarus, France, UK, Italy, China, USA
