When people ask me the question, how did you start organising hikes, I have to think back to the time when au pair friends of mine posted pictures when at the top of Tete de Chien. A long time I wondered how to get to this magic place, until a second friend - living in Monaco, told me casually: "Ah, yeah, I walked up there. I stared at her, thinking, is that really it? Eventually, we took the car

to this spot. I saw the view, beautiful Monaco - standing in France (La Turbie) and overlooking Italy. But then I thought, nah - I've done nothing to deserve this view. So, a week later, on a sunny afternoon in January, I started my first Hike up to Tete de Chien (name comes from it having been a military Camp, but the French don't pronounce the P, so Italians thought it was Can - close enough to the Italian word for DOG). A few months later, and groups getting bigger, tours getting better, brings us here. Now you know what made me start these hikes, thank you for being part of it.
