Experimental and improvised music festival in Mulhouse, France, since 1983 ! For almost 40 years (!), the Meteo Festival has been one of the major international events for improvised, experimental and creative music in Mulhouse every year at the end of August. New projects, creations, French premieres, the festival invests atypical places of the city, plays with acoustics, puts forward a young gen
eration of French and international musicians. From August 23 to 27, 2022, Meteo will be back with a new and untypical program, mixing musicians of all generations, acoustic and electronic music, improvised and experimental, demanding and without blinkers, in more than a dozen places in the city, industrial wastelands, churches, chapels, museums, sport center, cafés, public spaces. Several workshops will be held throughout the week, led by professional musicians for about sixty trainees. Under the artistic direction of Mathieu Schoenahl since 2019, the festival has hosted the following musicians :
