Riders Film Festival wouldn’t exist without the support of the people and venues who believe in the project.

A huge thank you to our sponsor venues and partners who help make this festival possible every year in Méribel.

First of all, thank you to the Office du Tourisme de Méribel for supporting the festival and helping us bring riders, films, and the community together in the heart of the valley. Their backing helps keep events like this alive and accessible to everyone.

Massive respect as well to the Open Park crew and the park shapers. Building and maintaining the setup for the Rail Jams takes serious work and expertise, and we’re incredibly grateful for the time and effort that goes into preparing a safe and fun playground for the riders.
And finally, a big thank you to the people behind the venues who continue to support the festival and the riding community: Connor at La Taverne, Ali at Sullys and The Den, and India for always backing the project and helping make Riders Film Festival happen.

Riders Film Festival takes over Méribel

It’s finally here. This week coming Riders Film Festival is taking over Méribel with rail jams, movie nights, prizes and late-night parties across the village. Here’s what’s coming up.
Monday – 10PM – Rock’N’Roll Bingo at The Den
Your last chance to win 4 tickets for the Riders Film Festival. There are also some serious prizes up for grabs including a snowboard, hoodie and T-shirt, so get down there and try your luck.
Wednesday – 10AM–4PM – Snowboard Rail Jam FREE
Sound by Eazy Peazy Sound System
Buvette by Miaou Miaou Méribel
The rider spots are sold out, but come up to the park from 10AM in case of last-minute dropouts and to cheer on the riders.
Important for riders:
Helmets are mandatory.
All riders must sign a waiver before riding.
Riders must have their own insurance.
Thanks to S3V, there will be discounted lift access to the park on all Rail Jam days.
Snowboard Movie Night – The Den – From 7PM FREE
We kick off with the Snowboard Rail Jam prize giving sponsored by Volcom and Avalon Snowboards, followed by a stacked snowboard film lineup:

Organised by Art’Shape with sound by Blaze 7 Soundsystem and food and drinks from Miaou Miaou Méribel.
In the evening it’s time for the main event: the Riders Film Festival Team Film Showdown at the Auditorium.
The event is completely sold out.
Doors 8PM – Films 9PM.
And of course we’re not stopping there.
The official Riders Film Festival Afterparty kicks off at Sully’s from 12AM with SUBSESSIONS behind the decks.
Rail jams, films, prizes, parties and the best riding community in the Alps.

Big news for the Riders Film Festival jury lineup… 👀

We’re stoked to welcome Chris McCormick as one of our ski judges this year, proudly supported by Peak Performance.

Born in Glasgow, Chris has been skiing since the age of six and has gone on to compete on the international freestyle circuit in slopestyle and big air, representing Great Britain on the World Cup stage and at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
With strong results on the World Cup tour—including a 7th place finish at the Stubai World Cup—he brings serious competitive insight and a deep understanding of modern freestyle progression.

But beyond the contest scene, Chris is also passionate about the film side of skiing, making him the perfect addition to our judging panel as we celebrate creativity, style and riding culture on screen.

🔥 From World Cup slopestyle to the Riders Film Festival jury ...we couldn’t ask for a better eye to help decide this year’s winners.

Riders Film Festival – Meet the OGs 🎬🏂

We realised something the other day… we’ve never properly introduced the small but mighty crew behind Riders Film Festival. So here they are: the OGs who make this whole thing happen year after year.

Ally – The Boss Lady
The very chaotic brain behind the project. From sketching the very first logos and dreaming up the creative concept, to negotiating with brands, running logistics, and drowning in admin, Riders is very much her baby. Keen surfer who somehow ended up in the mountains, Ally is passionate about keeping core riding culture alive…May have been called dragon lady once or twice. oh well. When she’s not juggling a multitude of events in Méribel, she occasionally disappears back to sea working as a deckhand on boats.

Olli – The Voice of Reason
Often dubbed one of the best riders in town, Olli was the first person to jump on board when Riders was just an idea. When things inevitably get a bit wild during event prep, Olli steps in as the calm voice of reason: helping navigate logistics, politics, and occasionally listening to Ally’s dramatic outbursts. His deep knowledge of riding culture and the local scene helps keep the festival authentic and rooted in what it’s really about: the riders.

Amon – The Man Behind the Show
Without Amon… there simply wouldn’t be a show. When he joined the team in year two, he completely elevated the production level of the festival. Amon edits the entire film programme and turns a mountain of footage into the show you see on stage. It takes hours and hours (and hours) of editing, tweaking, and refining. He also somehow manages to stay incredibly patient with Ally’s never-ending stream of wild ideas and always rises to the challenge.

Rob aka DJ Kaya – The Soundtrack of Riders
Rob has been with us on stage for nearly 8 years now. From pre-show hype to keeping the energy flowing between films, DJ Kaya knows exactly how to read a room and lift the atmosphere. His sets bring the whole night together and make sure the crowd stays buzzing from start to finish.

We’ve just added a SICK new element to our Snowboard Movie Night 👀

On 18th March from 7PM at The Den, not only will we be watching some seriously good snowboard edits from Volcom, Victor Daviet and more, we’ve got something extra lined up…

🔥 London tattoo artist Satchel Haycraft will be in the house doing flash tattoos during the night.

First come, first served so if you’re keen, get down early.

He’ll also be around Méribel for a few days, so if you miss out on the night you can always drop him a DM to try and grab a slot.

And one more thing…

🎁 Satchel is giving away ONE tattoo as a prize for Riders (T&Cs apply).

Snowboard films, tattoos, drinks and good people.
Sounds like a pretty solid evening to us.

Only 8 days to go until the Riders Film Festival kicks off … so it’s time to introduce the DJs bringing the soundtrack. 🎧🔥

From the park to the afterparty, we’ve got the beats covered.

SUBSESSIONS will be taking over the official Afterparty at Sully's on 20th March from 00:00. Do we need to say more?

Up at the park, Eazy Peazy Soundsystem (aka Maceo) will be behind the decks for the snowboard and ski rail jams, delivering the good vibes all day long. As good on skis as he is on the decks, expect the perfect soundtrack for sending it.

And when it’s time for the Skate Jam, DJ Blaze Sound will step in to keep the energy high and the rhythm flowing.

Films. Rails. Skate. Music. Good people.

The countdown is ON.

WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT?

🌴🌴🌴 SUMMER IS COMING... STAY TUNED...🌴🌴🌴

This is pretty simple.

Sometimes in March, we will give you an opportunity to sign up your team, you will be given a festival token to be included in every shots (what? did you really think you would be able to sneak in that awesome powder day? Nah, Nah, Nah, you make do with what will come that week.) You will then have 7 days to produce a 5min video which must be filmed in and around the 3 Valleys. We will then have a panel of pro snowboarders and skiers reviewing your videos and crown an overwall winners. Trust us we have some pretty amazing riders to take a look at what you will come up with.

On the Film Festival night, we will be showing all the videos and let the public vote for their favourite. Yup, that means you don’t have one but two chances to win big time!
