We’re back home now and back to reality…😂.
We had an amazing trip, it was extremely well organised by the Benidorm Bangers Crew, they kept us busy every day with challenges, quizzes, car bingo, fancy dress days and nights, daytime meetings places and some great evening venues in some lovely Cities.
We had a good go at everything and managed just over 1,600 miles in the old Renault which performed superbly..🚗🚗

The fundraising side has been fantastic, we set a target of £1000 for The Yorkshire Air Ambulance. We are now not far off £2000 !
We will keep the Fundraising open for another week or two before we close it, count up and send it all in to the Air Ambulance.

WE’VE MADE IT TO BENIDORM 🇪🇸🎉

We’ve had a fairly long day today, setting off from Pau and heading over the Pyrenees Mountains across the Spanish border down via Zaragoza. Then onto the Mediterranean coast and overnight at Valencia.
Done around 375 miles with some stunning scenery, we’ve seen a bit of snow, driven through some rain and now found some sunshine..❄️🌧️☀️
Car has done well again with just one technical issue today…🚗

We’ve had a steadier day today, just 300 miles taking in the scenery.🏡🌴
Had a walk on the coast at La Rochelle this morning then headed down to Pau.
Again we’ve completed all our daily challenges.👍
Car going ok, we’ve done around 1,180 miles since leaving Long Preston with only a few minor issues which we’ve managed to sort out ourselves..🚗🚗
A longer day tomorrow over the Pyrenees mountains down into Valencia.

Now arrived at La Rochelle, had a nice drive today from Caen. Did the scenic route via a few little villages, lunch stop at Le Mans Circuit and manage a lovely early evening meal before La Rochelle.🥩
We’ve completed all today’s quiz sheets, bingo and the daily challenge…🚗🕺🏼🕺🏼😂😂

We’ve made it to France 🇫🇷

We’ve been busy with our daily challenges.
We’ve completed today’s quiz sheets, done car bingo and performed to Grease Lighting with our blow up guitars on the ferry..🎸😂

We are now heading down from Calais to Caen for tonight’s meeting point. 🚗
