The 26th edition of the race served as a key early-season test for climbers and puncheurs.
Distance: Approximately 188 km.
Elevation: Featured over 3,400 meters of climbing.
Start/Finish: Both the start and finish were located in Guilherand-Granges.
Key Climbs:
Saint-Roman-de-Lerps: A 6.3 km ascent at 7.6% gradient, summiting roughly 39.5 km from the finish.
Val d'Enfer: A brutal 1.5 km climb with gradients reaching 14%. It was tackled four times during the race, with the final summit just 6 km from the finish line.
Mur de Costabelle: A new addition to the route, featuring a 300-meter section with gradients up to 13.3%.

➡️ From 11:45 Sunday on the Faun Drôme Classic in Étoile-sur-Rhône

The 2026 Faun-Ardèche Classic is a UCI ProSeries one-day cycling race scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2026. This 26th edition of the race features a demanding 188.5 km hilly course centered around Guilherand-Granges in the Ardèche region of France.
Distance and Elevation: The race covers 188.5 km with approximately 3,350 meters of total vertical gain.
Key Climbs:
Val d'Enfer: A 1.5 km climb at 10.5% gradient, which will be tackled four times during the race. The final ascent occurs just 5 km from the finish line.
Mur de Costebelle: A new addition featuring gradients up to 8.6%, to be climbed twice.
Saint-Romain-de-Lerps: A longer 6.3 km climb at 7.6% situated roughly 50 km from the finish.
Côte du Pin: A 9.3 km climb (4.6%) early in the race used to establish breakaways.
