Someone said the reason Arsenal lost to PSG was because PGMOL and the FA were not in the Champions League. 😅
To him, In the Premier League, Arsenal are used to very physical games and certain challenges being allowed by referees, but European referees handle those situations very differently.
Arteta’s team usually controls games well in England with strong defending, physical battles, and low-block football, but in Europe the referees are much stricter and follow the rules more closely.
Moments like the penalty incident involving Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and the late extra-time collision between Noni Madueke and Nuno Mendes, are perfect examples of situations that might be ignored in the Premier League but are taken far more seriously by referees in Europe.
It’s a tough lesson, but it shows that dominating in England does not always mean things will work the same way in Europe. ❤️✌️
Do you agree with this summary concerning Arsenal and it’s officiating in England and that of Europe....🤷♂️
