Here it is, nice and ready! The latest album from Odessey & Oracle. We call it their “latest” album because the band is no longer active, but an album previously unknown to the public had been sitting in our inventory for some time. Today, we want to share it with you and give it as much life as possible, because it deserves a place in every music lover’s collection.
"Odessey & Oracle was a musical and societal oddity—both modern and old-fashioned. They’ve given us one last album of subversive prog-pop, brimming with the vibrant colors of life and illuminated by F***y L’Héritier’s twirling voice. An album that feels good from the very first listen, opening with a parable/nursery rhyme based on a quote from Rousseau: “When the people have nothing left to eat, they will eat the rich”—it’s bound to be a treat. So we must dream in Cinemascope to combat the nightmares of reality, diving into this shimmering, picturesque, and dreamlike universe that will add color to your return to school." - Soul Kitchen
Thank you for the music, thank you for everything!
