The event provides both the companies and the students with unique opportunities for networking and learning. During the event multidisciplinary stud

ent teams work to come up with solutions for the clients' real life business challenges. Coaches and company representatives are there to guide the student teams along the way. This year the students have an opportunity to invent their own solutions to UN´s sustainable development goals. Is nature, responsible consumption or perhaps sustainable cities and communities close to your heart? The intensive week will conclude with the jury reviewing the work and picking the best solutions. The best ideas will be noticed and teams will have an possibility to continue working with their ideas even after the event.

Sprint 2024 is open for ALL students from Tampere Universities community!

⭐️ At the Sprint Innovation Festival, interdisciplinary teams of students tackle sustainable future challenges, with input from our working life partners offering various perspectives.

⭐️ The partners accompany the students throughout the process, providing support and fueling the teams to generate new and innovative ideas.

⭐️Master new skills, build your network with peers from different fields, discover useful tools and of course – score 3 credits!

💥 SPRINT DAY 2 💥

Today teams had a chance to present their ideas in a pitch format for the first time and continue polishing their ideas based on the received feedback 🤓

Four amazing challenges were introduced along the day to keep the spirits up!

1️⃣ To build the tallest tower using spaghetti, 1 meter of tape, and one marshmallow on top 🗼

2️⃣ To create a meme about the Sprint experience 😃

3️⃣ To video-record a teams’ secret handshake 🤝

4️⃣ To build a human pyramid 🗻

Social enterprises are businesses which trade for a social or environmental purpose. Social enterprises contribute to reducing economic inequality, improving social justice and to environmental sustainability.
We challenge you to create a social enterprise and test its viability during the innovation week. The New Growth develops network-like cooperation between different organizations and actors. The goal is also to support the creation of new types of work and entrepreneurship paths. By challenging the students to ideate a social enterprise we want to see what kind of new businesses could be born in Tampere region!
There are more than 1700 social enterprises in Finland, contributing 5,8 billion to the economy and employing around 50 000 people. Social enterprises demonstrate a better way to do business, one that prioritizes benefit to people and planet and uses the majority of any profit to further their mission.
Networks behind New Growth project is creating new approaches to organizing employment and starting entrepreneur services. The project is led by Tampere Employment and Growth Services and co-implemented by Pirkanmaa Uusyrityskeskus ry, Tribe Tampere ry and Tampere Vocational College Tredu. The project will develop networking between different organisations and actors. The aim is also to support the emergence of new types of work and entrepreneurship pathways.

✨SPRINT KUMPPANI 2022: Creative Technology Finland ✨

👉 Creative Technology (CT) on yksi maailman johtavista tapahtumateknologiayrityksistä, joka toimittaa kokonaisvaltaisia audiovisuaalisia ratkaisuja yritys-, viihde-, urheilutapahtumiin. Räätälöidyt palvelumme yhdistävät korkealaatuisen suunnittelun, tuotannon ja toteutuksen. Tarjoamme erilaisiin tapahtumiin ratkaisuja aina suurista näytöistä, äänijärjestelmiin ja valaistuksesta, interaktiivisiin järjestelmiin.

👉 Vastuullisuuden merkitys yritystoiminnassa kasvaa. Tapahtumateknologian edelläkävijänä CT Finlandin tavoitteena on tuottaa oma vastuullisuusohjelma, jonka tarkoituksena on vastata tähän muuttuvaan tarpeeseen.

👉 CT Finland on valinnut seuraavat teemat tärkeimmiksi tavoitteikseen YK:n kestävän kehityksen tavoitteista:

✨SPRINT KUMPPANI 2022: TAMK - Tampere University of Applied Sciences & Tampere University✨

👉 Tampereen korkeakouluyhteisö, eli Tampereen ammattikorkeakoulun ja Tampereen yliopiston muodostama kokonaisuus, tavoittelee hiilineutraaliutta vuoteen 2030 mennessä.

👉 Korkeakouluyhteisö on toteuttanut hiilijalanjälkilaskennan jo kolmena peräkkäisenä vuonna ja päästöjen vähentämistoimia mietitään ja osin toteutetaankin jo.

👉 Päästöjen vähentämistoimilla päästään kuitenkin vain tiettyyn rajaan asti: kokonaan hiilineutraaliuteen pääsemiseksi tarvitaan muitakin toimia.

👉 Tässä haasteessa pääset innovoimaan tapoja ja mahdollisuuksia hiilineutraaliuteen pääsemiseksi!

Sprint Innovation Festival

Sprint Innovation Festival on viikon kestävä ideointi tapahtuma, joka yhdistää yritysedustajat ja Tampereen kolmen korkeakoulun opiskelijat. Tapahtuma tarjoaa sekä opiskelijoille että yrityksille ainutlaatuisen tilaisuuden verkostoitua ja oppia uutta.

Tapahtuman aikana yli 500 opiskelijaa eri koulutusohjelmista tuottavat monialaisissa tiimeissä ratkaisuja kestävän kehityksen caseihin sekä toimeksiantajien liiketoimintaan liittyviin aitoihin haasteisiin. Opiskelijatiimejä ohjaamassa ja auttamassa ovat asinatuntijat, valmentajat ja yritysten edustajat. Viikon lopussa opiskelijatiimit pääsevät pitchaamaan tuomaristolle uudet ideansa ja ratkaisunsa.
