OSA I ”Rasvaa ja Fantasiaa” -avajaiskonserttimme toinen puoli oli yhdisti perinteisen matinean, nykymusiikkikonsertin ja kummitustalon tunnelmat. Väliajan jälkeen esitimme Robert Schumannin Fantasiestücken kolme osaa eri soittajien tulkitsemina yhdistettynä kahteen niiden välissä esitettyyn nykymusiikkiteokseen. Tässä viiden lyhyehkön teoksen kokonaisuudessa kuulimme myös Matthew Whittallin teoksen Snow, and the scent of fallen leaves kontrabassolla ja harmonikalla sekä Lauri Supposen Laundry Studies teoksen ensimmäiset kaksi osaa (osittainen kantaesitys) viululla ja harmonikalla.
Tämän kokonaisuuden jälkeen Kumaus Trio asteli verhon taakse ja salin valot sammuivat. Tytti Arolan kantaesitys MYRKR koettiin lähes kokonaan pimeydessä. Alun korvia kutitteleva asmr muuttui pikkuhiljaa soivaksi kontrabassosooloksi. Lopussa himmeä valo heijasti verhoon sen takana soittavat hahmot.

The second half of our opening concert, PART I “Grease and Fantasies,” brought together the atmosphere of a traditional matinée, a contemporary music concert, and a haunted house.
After the intermission, we performed three movements from Robert Schumann’s Fantasiestücke, each interpreted by a different musician, interspersed with two contemporary works. This set of five relatively short pieces also included Matthew Whittall’s Snow, and the scent of fallen leaves for double bass and accordion, as well as the first two movements of Lauri Supponen’s Laundry Studies for violin and accordion — a partial premiere.
After this, Kumaus Trio disappeared behind the curtain and the lights in the hall went out. Tytti Arola’s world premiere MYRKR was experienced almost entirely in darkness. The ear-tickling ASMR sounds at the beginning gradually transformed into a resonating double bass solo. In the final moments, a dim light cast the silhouettes of the performers playing behind the curtain onto the fabric.
