What is yarn bombing? Yarn bombing 🧶 is a form of street art where public spaces are decorated with knitted or crocheted pieces. It is a soft, warm, and often humorous contrast to traditional graffiti.
Yarn bombing began in the early 2000s, and one of its well-known pioneers is Magda Sayeg. Since then, the phenomenon has spread around the world – including Finland, where it is often seen at festivals and in community projects.
Where would you place your yarn bombing? Will you create it alone or together?
