The feis starts tomorrow and we have everything ready for you! 🤩

We are honored to welcome the Irish Ambassador Parkin to join the opening of the competition at 9:30. ☘️ If your schedule allows please join from the start to support our beginner dancers who will be dancing first.

Ambassador Dónal Denham has been in Helsinki since July 2013. He presented his credentials to President Sauli Niinisto on 29 August 2013

♺ How to keep you energy level up during Helsinki Feis?

☕️Cafe Bar Luola is located in the venue and will be open 11-17. They will serve coffee, tea, salty and sweet snacks, sandwiches, cinnamon rolls and smoothies.

🥙There is also a shopping center Kauppakeskus Espoontori in 5 min walk near the railway station and there you can find several restaurants as well as K-Supermarket.

💧If you didn't know, you can drink tap water in Finland. It's fresh and clean. So bring your own water bottle with you.

🚊The venue Kannusali (Kannusillankatu 4, Espoo) can be reached via local trains U, E or Y. Travel time is approximately 25 min from the central railway station to station called Espoo. Venue is located only 5 min walk from Espoo. Please buy a single ticket for ABC, price 4.10€.

The easiest way to plan your route via public transport in Helsinki is to use HSL Journey Planner via website https://www.hsl.fi/en or App https://www.hsl.fi/en/tickets-and-fares/hsl-app . You can also buy your ticket via the app. Tickets can be bought also from blue HSL ticket machines or from R-kioski.

Use the HSL app to buy a ticket for HSL buses, commuter trains, trams or the metro, read transport news and use the Journey Planner. You can download the app free of charge.

☘️ We would like to welcome all spectators to come and enjoy the Irish dancing competition and show 10.6.2023 at Kannusali.☘️

The competition will run all day starting with opening at 9:30. There will be dancers from all levels Beginner, Primary and Intermediate/advanced. Premier and adult championships will start at 15.20. We would especially like to welcome you all to come to enjoy our show choreography competition starting at 17:45! 🤩

Admission fee 9 € for the full day. Children under 10 years of age free. Note. Only card payment possible. Cafe Bar Luola will serve refreshments from 11 to 17.

The grade exams schedule and info message were emailed yesterday to dancers registered to take grade exams at our grades event on the 11th of June. Please check that you have received the email and ask if something is unclear!

Everyone, please remember that all registrations and payments for Helsinki Feis and Grades are due tomorrow, Wednesday the 24th of May! We look forward to seeing you all in Helsinki in June!

Yay, we have a good amount of teams registered in the show choreography competition in Helsinki Feis! ☘️ We look forward to see all the performances. Please note this competition is limited 10 first teams that register. If you have a choreography that you would like perform we advice to register soon!

❗️Also to remind that Helsinki Feis registration closes in one week 24th of May.❗️ Please also remember to pay all fees by that day. The payment information is on the syllabus.

✅ Did you know this is an open status feis meaning that it is open to CLRG dancers and also dancers from other organisations or dancers not affiliated with any org. or school!

Helsinki Feis is getting closer and it's time to introduce our venue Kannusali. 🤩

🚊Kannusali is located in 5 min walk from the nearest regional train station called Espoo. It can be reached via trains U, E and Y from the Central Railway Station. There is also free parking for those arriving by car.

🏆The competitions are run on an approx. 9m x 8m stage, and dressing rooms and a separate warm-up area will be provided. Also spectators can enjoy the competition comfortably in ascending auditorium seating.

☕️Canteen will be open from 11 am to 5 pm serving coffee, tea and some fresh snacks like sandwiches and smoothies. There are also several restaurants and a grocery store in 5 min walk from the venue.
