The World Gymnaestrada is a world-wide FIG Gymnastics for All event held every 4 years and attracting the largest number of active participants of any FIG event. Participation is for everybody, regardless of gender, age, race, religion, culture, ability or social standing.
25.000 participants from 50 different countries are expected to take part in Helsinki. The event is non-competitive, and gymnasts of all ages perform in variety of venues. The performances can be enjoyed also by citizens of Helsinki as well as tourists. This page is for all Gymnaestrada friends to offer information, latest news and peeks behind the scenes of this major gymnastics event. The page also provides a platform for conversations, questions and feedback between the people interested in the World Gymnaestrada and the organisers.
