In-Between / Välitiloissa
ROO on pääosin itseoppinut helsinkiläinen kuvataiteilija, jonka surrealistisissa yskityiskohtaisissa teoksissa todellisuuden, tunteiden ja unien rajat sekoittuvat toisiinsa. Kaupunkien valojen väriloisto ja luonnon elävyys inspiroivat monia hänen teoksiaan. Mitä pidempään teoksia katsoo, sitä enemmän niistä löytää.
Välitiloissa -näyttelyssä todellisuus valuu liminaalisiin tiloihin, jossa nykyhetki, menneisyys ja tulevaisuus on olemassa samanaikaisesti. Aika ei ole lineaarista. Eikö tämä paikka näytäkin tutulta? Olet ollut täällä ennenkin...
ROO is a mostly self-taught Helsinki-based visual artist whose surrealistic detailed works of art blur the lines between reality, emotions and dreams. The vividness and color brilliance of lights in cities and nature work as an inspiration for many of their artworks. The more you look at the artworks the more you can find.
In the exhibition ”In-Between” the reality blends into liminal spaces where the present, past and future exist at the same time. Time is not linear. Doesn’t this place look familiar? I think you have been here before...
