Teurastamolla nähtävillä olevissa Camilla Vuorenmaan teoksissa eletään unen ja todellisuuden rajamailla. Kohta Taidehalli osallistuu Reflektoriin ohjelmistollaan, jossa nähdään puolalaisen Marek Chlandan ja norjalaisen Hanne Grieg Hermansenin näyttelyt.
"(Hamlet) Speak, I am bound to listen" heijastaa huvittelun hetkellisyyttä Brightonin laiturihuvipuiston kautta. Vuorenmaa tutkii, miten hetkellinen ilo ja jännitys voivat kätkeä alleen tummempia sävyjä.
"Dream is the same every night" ammentaa lapsuuden toistuvista painajaisista ja alitajunnan pelkokuvista. Nuket, perhekuvat ja kauhukuvasto sekoittuvat unenomaiseksi maisemaksi, jossa tuttu muuttuu uhkaavaksi.
Vuorenmaa on tunnettu maalausta ja puupiirrostekniikkaa yhdistävistä suurikokoisista teoksistaan, joissa hän tutkii ihmisten eleitä, tunteita ja yhteyttä toisiinsa.
Kohta Taidehallin näyttelyssä "Goodnight and other works" nähdään piirustuksistaan, muista paperiteoksistaan, veistoksistaan ja multimediainstallaatioistaan tunnetun Marek Chlandan työtä. Hanne Grieg Hermansenin "Dazzlers"-näyttelyn teokset keskittyvät valon vaikutukseen havaintoelimissä – ja valokuvauslaitteissa.

At Teurastamo, Camilla Vuorenmaa’s works dwell on the border between dream and reality. Kohta Kunsthalle will take part in Reflektor with a program featuring exhibitions by Polish artist Marek Chlanda and Norwegian artist Hanne Grieg Hermansen.
"(Hamlet) Speak, I am bound to listen" reflects on the fleeting nature of amusement through the lens of Brighton’s seaside funfair. Vuorenmaa explores how moments of joy and excitement can conceal darker undertones.
"Dream is the same every night" draws from recurring childhood nightmares and subconscious fears. Dolls, family photos, and horror imagery blend into a dreamlike landscape where the familiar turns unsettling.
Vuorenmaa is known for her large-scale works that combine painting and woodcut techniques, exploring human gestures, emotions, and connections.
Kohta’s exhibition "Goodnight and other works" presents pieces by Marek Chlanda, known for his drawings, works on paper, sculptures, and multimedia installations. Hanne Grieg Hermansen’s "Dazzlers" focuses on the effects of light on both the human eye and photographic devices.
