What a night! ❤️🔥
Suomen suurin, kaunein ja villein elokuvafestivaali Rakkautta & Anarkiaa käynnistyi mitä upeimmalla tavalla, kun kahdessa loppuunmyydyssä gaalanäytöksessä nähtiin hengästyttävän kaunis q***r-eepos La Bola Negra! Jono elokuvaan kiemurteli kauas kadulle…
Yleisön toivotti festivaalille tervetulleeksi R&A:n toiminnanjohtaja Pauliina Ståhlberg ja ohjelmistojohtaja Outi Rehn. Ståhlberg korosti puheessaan elokuvakokemuksen yhteisöllisyyttä. ”Se, mikä viimeistelee elokuvan, on yleisö. Te teette elokuvista kokonaisia. Elokuvat on tarkoitettu koettavaksi yhdessä”, Ståhlberg sanoi katsoessaan täyttä salia. Rehn myös muistutti, että festivaali haluaa nostaa valokeilaan erilaisia ja moninaisia ääniä, jotta maailma olisi kaikille parempi paikka.
Ensimmäisen näytöksen yleisö pääsi nauttimaan myös säveltäjä Ilari Heinilän tummansävyisistä sävelmistä, joita Heinilä soitti yhdessä kauniin aavemaisen The Black Lodge -yhtyeensä kanssa.

Finland’s biggest and wildest film festival, Love & Anarchy, kicked off with a spectacular start when the breathtakingly beautiful q***r epic La Bola Negra was screened at two sold-out gala screenings! The queue for the film snaked far down the street…
The audience was welcomed to the festival by R&A’s Executive Director Pauliina Ståhlberg and Programme Director Outi Rehn. In her speech, Ståhlberg emphasised the sense of community that cinema can offer. “It’s the audience that completes a film. You are the ones who make films whole. Films are meant to be experienced together,” said Ståhlberg, looking out at the packed auditorium. Rehn also reminded the audience that the festival aims to shine a spotlight on diverse voices, so that the world might be a better place for everyone.
The audience at the first screening also had the chance to enjoy composer Ilari Heinilä’s dark tunes performed by Heinilä and his beautifully haunting band, The Black Lodge.
