What a night, Helsinki last Saturday🙏🏻

Huge thanks to everyone who stepped into the neon light with us last Saturday at On the Rocks!

With so much happening across the city on a packed weekend, seeing a packed floor made our hearts beat in 120 BPM.

Dj Benjamin Risto Uuno (or DJ BRU for the synth friends), is the resident DJ of Helsinki Synth City.

Having a wide range when it comes to musical taste, his sets vary depending the situation and mood.

When playing under this alias, the focus is on synthwave in all different shapes and forms in addition to other genres that with a narrative purpose can fit and help telling a story. Dark disco, italo, ebm, different kinds of synth music and more can be expected when DJ BRU is behind the decks.

Get Ready for Countach!
Get ready for Countach—the ultimate early-evening synth summit hitting Helsinki Synth City. We are packing a full-scale retro-future experience into one action packed night, headlined by Berlin’s very own synth wizard. Our event time has also been updated to be an early evening event that starts at 19.00 and ends at 23.30.

The Lineup

TOMMY COUNTACH – Direct from Berlin, the former keyboardist for Captain Hollywood Project and Grossraum Indie Fresse is bringing his legendary, gear-obsessed solo show to the stage. Armed with a zillion keyboards, drum machines, loopers, and his signature keytar, Tommy bridges the gap between 80s/90s Italo disco, synthwave, and eurodisco. Expect a high-octane mix of familiar melodies, improvised jams, and fresh tracks like his latest single, “Sweet Danger.”
ACE BUCHANNON – Finland’s biggest name in synthwave joins the lineup as our stellar support act! Ace will be treating the audience to a powerhouse set of his greatest tunes.
DJ BRU – Setting the tone early is our Helsinki Synth City DJ—DJ BRU— who will be spinning on the decks right from the start to warm up the party and get the dancefloor moving.
WORLD EXCLUSIVE: Neo Helsinki Records Release
This event marks the official release of the highly anticipated Neo Helsinki Records “Dual Protocol” C-cassette compilation!
This exclusive tape features 8 distinct artists from the cutting edge of the scene and has been produced in collaboration with Thriv and Songen.
“Get Ready for Countach” will be the world-exclusive first place to grab your physical copy firsthand before they are gone.
