🚨 THE DEATH OF CAPITALISM — AND WHO GAVE THEM THE MANDATE?

The N**i 25-point programme called for nationalisation, profit-sharing, land reform and greater state direction of the economy.

Fast-forward to 2026. Labour is expanding public ownership, directing investment, increasing employment regulation and intervening in strategic industries.

The historical context and ideology are radically different. But the uncomfortable question remains: how far should the state control the economy before individual freedom, enterprise and private ownership begin to suffer?

🔥 And now Andy Burnham is being discussed as a potential force for taking Labour’s interventionist agenda even further.

More state control. More political direction. More dependence on government.

THE DEATH OF CAPITALISM BY A THOUSAND GOVERNMENT INTERVENTIONS?

Britain needs to debate this openly before the next election — not after.

Burnham is not the Prime Minister, and any future national programme would need political authority. But if he wants to transform Britain’s economic model, where is the national mandate for that transformation?

Voters deserve a choice between enterprise and state control — not a fundamental change in the economic direction of the country decided behind closed doors.
