There’s no secret formula for building a company. Sometimes, the biggest change has to happen in the founder.

For , Founder & CEO of , the company reaching its strongest point yet has gone hand in hand with his own evolution as a leader. He started Internxt shortly after university, and today leads a team of 40 people with what he describes as the highest concentration of talent the company has ever had.

His analogy is simple: a company can have a great plane and powerful engines, but it still needs a good pilot ✈️

In this episode of The Room by VDS, Fran reflects on growing alongside the company he built and how leadership evolves as the team, ambition and business scale 🚀

🏆 Michal placed 3rd out of 13,000 applications in ’s 2026 hackathon

As a Clinician Scientist at Abridge, Michal works at the intersection of medicine, software and artificial intelligence, bringing the perspective of a practising interventional cardiologist directly into the development of clinical AI.

What happens when the systems deciding who gets hired, promoted or funded keep rewarding the same patterns? 🤖

At VDS, , Founder & CEO of and creator of Identity Intelligence™, explored one of the risks emerging at the intersection of AI and leadership: automating predictability.

Through Diverse Leaders in Tech, she works with a network that includes companies such as , Prosus, , Mews and Adyen. Its 2025 State of Inclusion in European Tech found that only 15% of companies achieve all their inclusion goals, while just 8% link DEI outcomes to leadership reviews and promotions.

Her point is simple: if organisations keep rewarding sameness and AI learns from those same patterns, technology can reinforce the very systems we should be questioning.

Are we using AI to expand possibilities, or simply to automate what already exists?

Ingrid Tappin explores it in this VDS capsule 🎥
