We planned on starting each day at 9 AM, which was probably too late for someone like Deby who is used to waking up super early to go on crazy long rides. Nonetheless, that did not prevent her from showing us her resilience and good mood.

Cuando empezamos a subir el Kühtai pudimos apreciar el valle que, desafortunadamente, no habíamos podido ver el día anterior. Como hay una carretera principal paralela a la subida, pudimos ir a nuestro ritmo tranquilamente sin estar excesivamente pendientes de los coches, hasta coronar el puerto a 2.020 metros de altitud.
When we started climbing the Kühtai we could finally appreciate the valley that, unfornately, we weren’t able to see the day before. Because there is a main road that runs parallel to the climb, we could ride our bikes without worrying about cars too much, until we reached the top at 2.020 meters of altitude.
