Whether our recently released ATG 5 film was the topic of conversation during your Christmas lunch or not, we hope that by watching it you could get a glimpse of what we experienced during those days of riding in the Alps.

Apparently Santa Claus will also pay us a visit this Christmas, but we don't know what could it be. We have behaved well and climbed all the mountains ahead of us, so we hope he is taking that into account.

Back then we were counting down the hairpins to reach the top of the climb.
Now we are counting down the days until we embark on a similar cycling adventure.

Our w/kg ratio has quickly gone down since our stay in the Alps. Please bring back those days in which we could eat whatever knowing that we were going to burn it right away.

In case that climbing the uphill section of Colle delle Finestre was not challenging enough, some amused themselves by descending part of it while the ones that had already reached the top watched it from the distance.

This is a rare photo of all members together. Once the briefing was done and the riding part started, they spread themselves to make sure that, during the climbs, none of the participants was left on their own. Unless they were too fast.

There are three things that all the Among the Giants editions have in common: tough climbs, a nice group of people, and tons of tunnel photos.

We planned on starting each day at 9 AM, which was probably too late for someone like Deby who is used to waking up super early to go on crazy long rides. Nonetheless, that did not prevent her from showing us her resilience and good mood.

We can still hear him approaching from behind at full speed on the way to the top of Galibier. It seemed that gave us all a head start just to make things more interesting, and then he overtook us one by one with ease.

We were mostly concerned about the off-road section of Colle delle Finestre, but the first half of the climb was equally hard. Uncountable 'tornanti' in the shadow led us to the start of the gravel part.

We finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, as there is only one week left until we meet again for the fifth edition of Among the Giants.

When we started climbing the Kühtai we could finally appreciate the valley that, unfornately, we weren’t able to see the day before. Because there is a main road that runs parallel to the climb, we could ride our bikes without worrying about cars too much, until we reached the top at 2.020 meters of altitude.
