A rare treat of rare grooves!

We’re headed to Casa Lhasa tomorrow evening for an extended vinyl only set with the ever wonderful .

It’s a beautiful spot with beautiful people and beautiful food and drinks.

Playing records changes our musical pallet somewhat so expect a slightly different painting but delivered of course with the usual Brothers Grim charm and panache!

A massive part of what we have always been about is supporting and working with on-island resident artists, giving them the best position to shine in what we do with what they do. We continue to do this with our Tales Of The Unexpected parties and with GOLDIE M.B.E as headline artist we have been able to offer a chance to someone relatively new to the island. Making his home here in recent years and supporting us on Thursday August 13th is Mark System.

Raised in suburban North London and influenced by the city’s pirate radio networks, Mark developed his craft through early experiments with keyboards, microphones and tape becoming a massively successful and established artist within the scene. Supported by Shy Fx and dBridge to name two giants of D&B and with releases with Exit and Digital Soundboy Mark System became a name to follow. His music is mature and confident yet far from tamed and the intensity of his DJ sets evokes strong emotion. They are attractive, edgy and yet accessible….very much like the man himself. And we are very happy to have him close the proceedings of the next Unexpected adventure at Akasha...

GOLDIE M.B.E popularised Drum & Bass as a form of musical expression every bit as worthy of contemplation as techno had become by the early ‘90s. But while others disappeared into the studio, Goldie with his gold teeth and B-boy attitude always kept one foot firmly in the rave.

Booking Goldie in Ibiza was always going to be a risk. The undisputed home of the 4/4 pulse doesn’t always take kindly to artists operating slightly left of centre, even when they’ve been at the top of their game for over 30 years.

We took the chance. Booking him to perform in a certain dead rock stars - rumoured to be - former bedroom in the hills of San Antonio. The first show was a thing of wonder. The second was a lockout. On both occasions Goldie effortlessly flipped through the sounds that inspired him in the first place, lifting the whole space into orbit and creating scenes rarely witnessed before or since in that room.

Well, you know what they say... third time’s a charm.

Goldie returns for his only Ibiza performance of the summer on Thursday 13th August.

Bigger space. Bigger sound system. Same uncompromising energy.

Tales Of The Unexpected has always been about doing things a little differently! The musical spectrum is both broad and beautiful and we like to explore all corners of the rhythmic rainbow. Our next three events showcase a brief glimpse into the wide and wonderful world of music out there, and not only are they varied they are also the only times you’ll be able to see these artists in Ibiza this Summer.

We kick off our trio of exclusive performances on Friday 5th June with our friend and co-conspirator . A man of many talents, and many aliases too. His productions as Man Power cover most corners of electronica and as Bed Wetter he dives deeper into ambiance, atmospheres and even as far as classical compositions with his work with The Royal Northern Sinfonia. A music man through and through.

Next up, and certainly not needing needing this elaborate introduction, the godfather of Drum N Bass, a true electronic music pioneer, a cultural icon and someone truly deserving of the often over used term legend, makes his Akasha debut and only Ibiza performance of the Summer on Thursday 13th August. This is going to be one for the history books, tickets are flying out. Grab yours while you still can!

And finally and equally as iconic we are incredibly proud to present the only Ibiza performance of the year for . Perhaps more at home headlining festivals to thousands of people around the globe, the chance to catch them DJing in such an intimate venue does not come around often! Their music soundtracked a generation; effortlessly cool, full of soul and tenderness while managing to sound at the same time dynamic, daring and dramatic. We can’t wait to welcome them for another Akasha debut.

To say we’re a little precious about who we work with is perhaps an understatement. It takes a certain type of character for us to invite them into our inner circle. Fortunately for us ticks all our boxes. And so when we set out on our new adventure last year Geoff was the first person we called.

He’s a music lover, a northerner, a tenacious promoter, a raconteur, a doer-of-things, an all-round good guy and most importantly a fantastic DJ.

Last year we had the pleasure of booking and promoting 5 events with him, however this year with the arrival of a new family member keeping him occupied on the home front, he’s not as free to galavant around the world and so we’re very happy we’ve managed to entice him over for his only Ibiza performance of the Summer.

So come share the love, the good times and the better music with us on Friday 5th June at for the first of 3 complete island exclusives at Tales Of The Unexpected this Summer. He’s joined on the night by island favourites and .mandoiu and as always we will be kicking things off in the cafe for an early evening dinner and a dance.

Roll up roll up for Tales Of The Unexpected number 3 of 6!

We’re very happy to welcome back our friend, coconspirator, and musical maestro on Friday 5th June. Not only is this Man Power’s only Tales Of The Unexpected date it’s also his only Ibiza date of the year so catch him while you can! He’s joined in by .mandoiu and and as always The Brothers grim kick things off in the Las Dalias Cafe for anyone looking to ease into the evening.

A night of fun, frivolity and the finest music around lies ahead!

A huge thanks to everyone who joined us on Friday for one of our favorite parties to date. The atmosphere was electric from the start the music was spectacular from the first record until the very last. proved once again why he’s one of our favorite DJs, and local lads and delivered two masterclasses in how to open a room and how to close the night out in style. Their debut Tales Of The Unexpected performances will certainly not be their last!

Coming up we’re looking ahead to June 5th when we’re joined by for his one and only Ibiza show of the year who plays alongside and .mandoiu.

We’re only doing a very limited number of these parties this year so book your babysitters while you still can and see you on the dancefloor!

25 years of fun and festivities with one of our most favorite DJs !

Take a trip down memory lane with us from his first We Love flyer way back in 2001 to our upcoming party at on Friday 15th May! James was our longest serving resident at We Love Space and represented us around the word, from Miami to Amsterdam, Austria and beyond. We’re so very grateful for his continued support and we can’t wait to welcome him to our new home this Friday.
