🌟 Remembering Eddie 🌟

It’s hard to put into words the loss we feel as we say goodbye to our dear friend, Eddie. He was a dad to Arturo and Grace, the most lovely human kids on earth. His wife, Gemma, a friend to many, shared a beautiful journey with him. Together, they were a big part of the Pura Vida Festival, always supporting our project with love, creativity and generosity.

Eddie was THE craftsman with the golden touch, showcasing his handmade jewelry at every craft markets. A few months back, Eddie and Gemma made their dream come true – a shop for crafters in Tenerife. Eddie had his own workshop for leather works, fixing things with a passion that was truly inspiring.

Even in the face of illness, Eddie rocked a stylish vibe and kept that infectious smile going strong. He was not just a dad; he was a healer with hands that brought comfort, whether through a massage or crafting magic. His mission? Making his family and friends happy.

Eddie was the brave soul who inspired us, just by being himself. With his Argentinian heart, he brought peace and serenity wherever he went. Always satisfied, always wise, with those shiny eyes ready to share a smile. He respected and cared deeply for his friends, always pushing his own limits.

We’ll miss Eddie dearly, especially his leathery stand at Tenerife’s markets. I bet each of us has a piece of his craft in our homes, a reminder of his artistry. Eddie, we love you, and we wish you a journey filled with peace, fun, good maté, and parties like the good ol’ days!

Though he won’t be with us physically, Eddie’s spirit lives on in the Pura Vida family. We’ll miss him so much, but his imprint on us all remains.

Kundalini: Activated 🐍

“I am laying down with a blindfold.
Now knowing what to expect I choose to surrender to the experience, whatever it may be.
Accepting the journey to go beyond my mind, and into my body.

And then it happens. The music doesn’t matter anymore as I become one with it. Sensations are felt in my body. Energy waves like shivers and also pulsating from my root to my head.
The feeling is familiar, like I already know it. I am very closely connected with the serpent as my power animal. But still something is different.

I feel like I’m a volcano about to gracefully erupt with a life force that is my essence. aspoeck comes by from time to time to help move, guide and activate the energy through her physical and energetic touch.

At one point my mouth opens as if something wants to come out, and exactly at that time Jasmine comes to expand my mouth so that the energy can move more freely.
That’s when the eruption happens. My torso gets pushed up towards the sky with my head turned back. I feel the kundalini energy flow through me, becoming one.

It’s beyond my control, not that I want to control it either. I feel at home. My body is moving, enjoying, feeling free, alive and wild.
This raw, ancient power surging through me.
As if I’ve never been more myself.
I dance and sing as if I were in a trance.
I am fully there but at the same time completely somewhere else..

Lastly the language of light comes through as another physical manifestation of the activation of energy and light codes I am transmuting.
But suddenly the music stops and it’s time to come back.
I didn’t want to. I felt as if I could stay in that bliss forever. So it took quite an effort to attune to the reality of the festival. Opening my eyes felt like I was in a dream. A bit overwhelmed, but so amazed and intrigued by this experience I’ve only had with plant medicine.

This was one of the highlights of pura vida festival for me. It made the special festival, even more magical. And it was just the beginning of a very blissful day full of love and wonders.

At PURA VIDA, we like to vibe you up but it’s also a sacred space where you can let go of all the noise and distractions, and simply be.

Close your eyes, take a deep breath and surrender to the magic of doing nothing.

Feel the earth beneath you, the sun on your skin and the wind in your hair. 🍃

It’s okay AND highly recommended to just put the world on pause and focus on yourself. ⏸️
