Where the future of yachting is being discussed.

One of the most exciting aspects of Palma Superyacht Village 2026 was seeing the continued growth of innovation, sustainability and forward-thinking ideas throughout Superyacht Square.

Across the space, startups, emerging businesses and established industry leaders came together to share new technologies, challenge conventional thinking and discuss some of the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of yachting.

From sustainability initiatives and alternative technologies to AI, digital platforms and crew-focused solutions, Superyacht Square provided a dedicated platform for conversations that are becoming increasingly important across the industry.

What makes the space so valuable is the diversity of people and ideas it brings together. Established businesses share the stage with startups, industry experts exchange perspectives with innovators, and new concepts are introduced to a global audience of decision-makers and professionals.

For us, that is exactly what Superyacht Square is about.

Creating opportunities. Encouraging collaboration. Celebrating innovation. And giving a platform to the people and businesses helping shape the future of yachting.

Looking ahead, we are excited to continue growing this area of the show and to welcome even more innovators, startups, sustainability-focused businesses, and industry thought leaders into the conversation.

Palma Superyacht Village would not be the same without the support of our sponsor and valued partners. Thank you for being part of the journey 💙

Why do exhibitors keep coming back to PIBS?

Year after year, Palma International Boat Show achieves an impressive 96% exhibitor return rate, a figure that speaks for itself.

For many companies, Palma has become one of the most important moments of the year. Not only because of the audience it attracts, but because of the opportunities it creates.

The setting also plays an important role. Marina Moll Vell provides a backdrop that is instantly recognisable to the industry, creating an atmosphere that combines business opportunities with the energy and lifestyle that make Palma such a popular destination year after year.

This creates a unique dynamic throughout the week. Conversations happen naturally, relationships are strengthened and new opportunities emerge across the docks, onboard yachts and throughout the wider show.

The results speak volumes. It is estimated that 25% of the yachts displayed within Palma Superyacht Village are sold within four months of the show, demonstrating the quality of the audience and the commercial opportunities generated throughout the event.

But perhaps what makes Palma stand out most is its ability to bring together every corner of the industry at exactly the right moment. At the start of the Mediterranean season, decision-makers, buyers, brokers, shipyards, suppliers and innovators all arrive in Palma with a shared sense of purpose and momentum.

For exhibitors, that combination is difficult to find anywhere else.

A special thank you to our sponsor and partners, without them this would not be possible 💙

One of the most engaging discussions at this year’s Superyacht Square focused on a topic that resonates with many across the industry, transitioning from life at sea into land-based roles.

The “Crew Transition: Sea to Land” panel explored the realities of preparing for that next step, with a particular focus on the financial side of transition and the importance of planning before making the leap shoreside.

Bringing together different perspectives and experiences from within the industry, the session opened honest conversation around long-term career planning, financial preparation and how crew can begin navigating opportunities beyond onboard life.

More than anything, the discussion reflected one of the key strengths of Superyacht Square, creating space for meaningful conversations that support not only the future of the industry but also the people within it.

It was fantastic to see so many people engaging with the discussion throughout the day and contributing to the atmosphere that made this year’s Superyacht Square so special.

A big thank you to Laura Henighen , Tim Reedman and Michael Davies for being part of the discussion, and to Lucie Gardiner for moderating the session.

And big thank you to our partners, without them this would not be possible💙

Why do people keep coming back to Palma International Boat showyear after year?

At the very beginning of the Mediterranean season, Palma brings together an international mix of crew, captains, shipyards, designers, brokers, innovators and industry professionals, all reconnecting in one place after winter.

Across the docks and throughout the marina, there’s an atmosphere that feels both professional and incredibly personal at the same time. Conversations happen naturally here. Old friends reconnect, new relationships begin and the industry comes together again ahead of another busy season.

This year’s edition also highlighted the growing focus on crew development, wellbeing and long-term career support within the industry. Through conversations at Superyacht Square and initiatives such as the , there was a strong emphasis on supporting crew not only during their time at sea, but throughout every stage of their career journey.

Alongside the incredible display of yachts across the show, it’s the people, the atmosphere and the shared moments throughout the week that continue to leave such a lasting impression year after year.

For many across the industry, Palma has become far more than just a stop on the calendar. It’s a place the community genuinely looks forward to returning to every season.

A special thank you to our sponsor and partners, without them this would not be possible 💙
