Fuel your body. Power your hike. 🥗💪💥
Hiking for hours under the sun, especially for two days straight, is no small feat. That’s why your nutrition is your best ally.
Start with slow-burning carbs to keep your energy up without crashes. Carry snacks that are high in nutrients, easy to digest, and won’t melt in your backpack (nuts, seeds, dried fruit, and compact energy bars). Skip alcohol before the challenge to avoid fatigue and dehydration. And drink water before you feel thirsty. If it’s hot out, mix in electrolytes to keep your body in balance.
🌿🥾 Hiking is physical, but success is also nutritional.
