Meet our teachers at BeeMAD 2027!

For more than 25 years, Chuck Brown has been a Champion dancer, Master Chief Judge, teacher, mentor, and co-director of The After Party (TAP). Beyond the titles, what defines him most is his passion for building community and uplifting dancers at every level. Having taught in over 35 countries, Chuck has been warmly embraced by scenes around the globe, where he is recognized as a pioneer and key contributor to the growth of the international West Coast Swing community.

Through his Emotion in Motion retreats and EyePower Judges Training, Chuck blends technique, artistry, and musicality, guiding dancers to find both confidence and authentic expression. His dedication to fairness, mentorship, and community continues to inspire dancers and judges worldwide, helping West Coast Swing thrive as a global family.

Fran’s journey began in competitive dancesport as a child, and he has continuously expanded his expertise across various disciplines ever since. He holds a degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, specializing in dance and performance training.

​As an instructor, Fran perfectly balances technical discipline with fun, sharing his immense passion for dance and promoting it as a highly beneficial lifestyle for people of all ages.

Meet our teachers at BeeMAD 2027!

With 30 years of dance experience ranging from ballet and jazz to Polynesian dance to competitive ballroom dancing, Sara fell in in love with west coast swing in 2009.

Known for her creativity and musicality, Sara knew immediately that she had found her passion. In 2016, after years of hard work, she reached the All-star level, which has constantly pushed and challenged her to evolve.

Even after dancing WCS for more than 10 years, Sara still finds joy and excitement in teaching, dancing and competing in the USA and Spain, as well as throughout Europe. She is widely known and loved throughout Spain for helping the growth of the westie community in recent years.

𝗛𝗲𝗲𝗷𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗴

Meet our teachers at BeeMAD 2027!

Heejung was born and raised in Incheon, South Korea. After joining a hip-hop dance team, eventually leading the crew and performing across the country, she experimented with lots of other styles of dance and joined the booming Korean Lindy Hop scene, where she both taught and competed.

Heejung moved to New York in 2008. It was there that she first truly learned and fell in love with West Coast Swing, attending her first event after learning for just two weeks. After training intensively in West Coast Swing, she returned to Korea and co-founded Westie Korea, the longest-running West Coast Swing community in Korea, in 2009. Since then, she has been the heart and soul of the Korean WCS community, providing instruction, support, smiles and her unlimited passion to the ever-growing scene.

Meet our teachers at BeeMAD 2027!

Hugo and Stacy have been setting the West Coast Swing scene on fire since 2012.

Fate brought them together on a dance cruise, and their lives as well as the world of West Coast Swing were forever changed. Their connection, both on and off the dance floor, is electric. As a couple, they have cultivated a unique style that seamlessly blends their individual strengths, resulting in a partnership that exudes innovation and authenticity. Their performances are a visual symphony, a fusion of storytelling movement and music that leaves audiences spellbound.

Beyond the the dance floor, Hugo and Stacy are renowned instructors and choreographers. They have dedicated themselves to sharing their knowledge and love for West Coast Swing with students around the globe. Their teaching is marked by patience, precision, and a deep passion for the dance, making them beloved mentors in the West Coast Swing community. Their impact on the West Coast Swing scene is immeasurable, and they continue to push the boundaries of the dance style, leading the way for the next generation of dancers.
