His career included performances in prestigious venues worldwide, establishing him as one of the era’s most influential pianists. The year 2025 marks the 150th anniversary of Viñes’ birth, a milestone that inspires a renewed celebration of his artistry and contributions. We are delighted to announce that our Artistic Director Néstor Bayona will bring the recently rediscovered work by Maurice Ravel, Sémiramis to Spain.

The piece was confirmed to be by Ravel thanks to the diary of his close friend Ricard Viñes, who attended its first performance 125 years ago.

This marks the Spanish premiere of Sémiramis, performed by the conducted by .official at:

🎶 – November 9

A historic and emotional moment connecting Ravel and Viñes.

Estem molt contents d’anunciar que el nostre director artístic Néstor Bayona porta a Espanya l’obra recentment redescoberta de Maurice Ravel, Sémiramis.

L’autoria de l’obra es va confirmar gràcies al dietari del seu amic Ricard Viñes, qui va assistir a la primera interpretació ara fa 125 anys.

Aquesta serà la primera interpretació a l’Estat espanyol de Sémiramis, interpretada per la sota la direcció de .official, en dos escenaris icònics:
