Si sois fans absolutos de Jörg Buttgereit, o queréis indagar más en su fascinante trayectoria creativa, os recomendamos muchísimo S*x Murder Art: The Films of Jörg Buttgereit, de David Kerekes.

Publicado originalmente en 1994 por Headpress Publishing, el libro se convirtió en una referencia fundamental sobre el cine de Buttgereit, con análisis de sus películas, entrevistas y material sobre su particular universo cinematográfico.

Nosotros tenemos en nuestra biblioteca la edición de 1998, revisada y ampliada, una auténtica joya que ya es difícil de encontrar. 🖤📖

Y tenemos una buena noticia para quienes no la tengáis: Headpress publicará una nueva edición revisada y ampliada de S*x Murder Art el 5 de noviembre de 2026, con nuevo material, nuevas entrevistas y contenido actualizado sobre la trayectoria de Buttgereit.

Mientras esperamos esta nueva edición, nosotros seguiremos disfrutando de nuestra copia de 1998 como lo que es: nuestro libro de cabecera sobre uno de los cineastas más singulares, provocadores y fascinantes del cine underground. 🖤

Originally published in 1994 by Headpress Publishing, the book became an essential reference on Buttgereit’s cinema, featuring analyses of his films, interviews, and material exploring his very particular cinematic universe.

We have the 1998 revised and expanded edition in our library — a true cult gem that is now increasingly difficult to find. 🖤📖

And we have some good news for those who don’t own a copy: Headpress will be publishing a brand-new revised and expanded edition of S*x Murder Art on November 5, 2026, featuring new material, new interviews, and updated content on Buttgereit’s career.

Until then, we’ll keep enjoying our 1998 copy for what it is: our reference reading on one of the most unique, provocative and fascinating filmmakers in underground cinema. 🖤
