As part of Egypt’s ongoing development of its national transport infrastructure, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inspected the Pyramids Station project, one of the key stations under Phase One of Cairo Metro Line 4.

The project represents a major step in enhancing mobility across Greater Cairo, linking 6th of October City and New Cairo with key districts including Giza, Haram, Faisal, Nasr City, and surrounding high-density areas. Once completed, the line is expected to serve around 2 million passengers daily, significantly improving connectivity and easing traffic congestion through a modern, integrated metro system.

The project also reflects strong international cooperation with Japan through JICA, alongside the efforts of Egyptian companies implementing this large-scale infrastructure. The first phase is scheduled for completion in 2028, marking a key milestone in Egypt’s vision for a sustainable and efficient public transport network.

In line with the directives of H.E. the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt to localize industries, particularly in the transport sector, the Ministry of Transport witnessed the signing of two strategic agreements between the National Authority for Egyptian Railways and NERIC.

The first agreement covers the manufacturing and supply of 500 air-conditioned passenger railway coaches, supporting the modernization of Egypt’s rail fleet and improving service quality for passengers. The second agreement focuses on establishing a specialized company to operate and develop the Koub El-Ramadi railway workshops, enhancing maintenance, overhaul, and repair operations to improve efficiency and fleet readiness.

These agreements mark an important step in Egypt’s ongoing strategy to localize railway industries, strengthen local manufacturing capabilities, and expand private sector participation, contributing to a more advanced and sustainable railway system.

A major milestone in the region’s evolving cultural landscape. Hassan Allam Holding, in joint venture with AlBawani Co. Ltd, has been awarded a landmark $490 million contract to deliver the Saudi Arabia Museum of Contemporary Art (SAMoCA) in Diriyah. As one of the Kingdom’s most prominent and iconic cultural projects, SAMoCA plays a central role in the ambitious Diriyah development plan, aimed at positioning the area as a world-class destination for heritage, tourism, and the arts.

Announced during an official signing ceremony attended by key industry leaders and government figures, the project reflects the strength of strategic partnerships in delivering high-impact developments. Located in the heart of Diriyah one of Saudi Arabia’s most significant historical sites the museum will span over 77,000 sqm of built-up area, contributing to a dynamic cultural ecosystem that blends history with modern innovation.
