24 hours of experimental music, art and local food on the margins…
Forvildet is a new, non-profit festival on the site of a beautiful
and untamed farm in Sjællands Odde, the rugged peninsula in northwest Zealand, Denmark. The ambition of Forvildet is to create an unapologetic event that promotes the queerness of nature and thrives on contrasts: domestic/feral, space/contact, calm/chaos, disobedience/acceptance. This year’s program will feature experimental music, performance, art and communities on the margins. Entertainment at the festival two stages hosting energetic live sets from ambient, folk, punk and jazz artists, and a late-night club spinning everything from techno to afrobeats. Following a challenging 18 months of isolation, our communal spirits now crave connection, and we have designed the festival ground to offer unity with both people and nature. Around the site you will find fire pits, a sauna tent, energising performances, botanical walking paths, opportunities to jump into the sea and maybe even a hidden disco booth. It is an experimental process that aims to build a community and stumble towards a larger Forvildet Festival next summer. We look forward to dancing in the pit with you…
Organic and local food
Odden’s renowned food and drink experts will be providing inspiring nourishment and libations to indulge in. There will also be street food and a dive bar on site for those with a little less change. Non-profit festival
Forvildet is a non-profit event. The festival is run on an amazing team of volunteers, who do everything from co-create the program to sort the compost. If you would like to be a part of making this special event happen, please get in touch! This year, all profits made from ticket sales will be donated to Ocean Rebellion. Please visit their website and get acquainted with their inspiring work. Zero-waste event
The root of the Forvildet is to consider, protect and celebrate biodiversity of all living things. Therefore, this event is experimenting with being zero waste. It is a huge challenge, so we will all try together! Please bring re-useable cups and plates if you can. If you want to help with this endeavour or have ideas for how to support the zero-waste effort, please contact us - we are hopeful beginners! We at Forvildet aim to create an equal and safe space to promote new ideas and hope.
