And we present 💥💥 The Seabiscuits 💥💥

The open wide, the mountains far away. Looking across a vast ocean, while the boat gently sways and the first mate plays a tune. The sun setting in a dizzying display of colouring clouds.

These are some of the images that comes to mind when I think of our music. Together we play for the fantasy and the feelings, the minds eye and the heart mind. Combining both classical harmonies and folkloristic trends and melodies, our music is both exquisitely intricate and transparent in form and colour.

The nature of the British and Irish countryside is an inspiration for Roslyn, when she writes. Humour and poetry, other. We are lucky to have eachother, and we are excited to have you as well, saturday the 23rd of May, at Ild I Gilden

Og vi præsenterer ⚡️⚡️Kruimeldief⚡️⚡️

Kruimeldief blev dannet omkring Laris D’hoses afsluttende masterkoncert og samler musikere fra Belgien og Norge i et fælles lydunivers. Med Laris D’hoses på kontrabas, Jonathan Jansson på violin/hardingfele og Marieke D’hose på harmonika fortolker trioen originale kompositioner, hvor især den norske folkemusik spiller en central rolle – krydret med improvisation og inspiration fra jazzen.

Ved at udfordre instrumenternes traditionelle roller skaber Kruimeldief et moderne og groovy folkudtryk med både nærvær, energi og legende musikalitet.

Og vi præsenterer 🔥🔥Fýri🔥🔥

Fýri inviterer dig, din familie og dine venner med på musikalske eventyr! Efter at have spillet et væld af skole- og familiekoncerter i Danmark og udlandet siden 2019 kommer Fýri i duo-format til Ild I Gilden! Det bliver fantasifuldt, legende og sjovt. Oplev nogle af de største hits fra 800-1500-tallet. Hør også Fýris originale ballader, baseret på gammel folketro og mytologi.

Det hele bliver spillet på spændende instrumenter, som du helt sikkert ikke hører hver dag: Nøgleharpe, rebek, mandola, davul, rammetromme, bjælder og skaller. Man må meget gerne læne sig tilbage og lytte, men Fýri lærer også alle at synge med og lave sjove fagter og bevægelser til musikken. Det er en oplevelse for alle, også de aller mindste. Fýri sørger for, at du, familien og vennerne får en hyggelig og skæg eftermiddag

Naragonia’s Pascale Rubens and Toon Van Mierlo present a delicious feast of beautiful music for your dancing and listening pleasure. Naragonia’s music ranges from intimate and delicate to voluptuous and passionate and is pervaded by a timeless and steady energy. You won’t want to miss a single note. Naragonia was formed in 2003 at the Andanças Festival in Portugal and have recorded since then 10 albums . In addition to playing in their home country of Belgium, Naragonia has toured through France, Germany, The Netherlands, England, Portugal, Spain, Poland, Italy… Naragonia won the award for "Best Live Band" at the Flanders Folk Awards in 2024.

Hun er kendt for sine smukke melodier, gode historier i sangene og hendes evne til at skabe en hyggelig og positiv atmosfære til sine koncerter. Kom forbi til en farverig og blomstrende koncert, og hør sange og historier om naturen, kærlighed og livets vildveje.

Døgnrytme bringer de gamle danske folkeballader ind i nutiden. De stærke fortællinger om kærlighed, længsel og drama får nyt liv i et møde mellem akustiske instrumenter og elektroniske beats. Musikken er skabt til dans – fra det stille og eftertænksomme til det pulserende og medrivende. Publikum inviteres ind i et univers, hvor tradition og fornyelse smelter sammen, og hvor middelalderens historier får en ny rytme. De tunge beats kan mærkes helt ind i brystet, og kombineret med stærke meloder og spændende tekster, formår Døgnrytme at skabe et helt særligt univers hvor man kan danse og føle sig fri.

Norway's Gangar brings a fresh take on Nordic roots music. The young, five-piece ensemble digs deep into Norway's extensive folk music archives to come up with rare traditional tunes. -- and give them new, modern arrangements influenced by rock, folk-metal, and jazz improvisation. Inspired by such artists as Hoven Droven, Meshuggah, and AC/DC, Gangar's sound is driven by the unique sound of Norway's Hardanger fiddle. Once vilified as "the devil's instrument" in folktales and banned in churches, the hardanger is now celebrated as the country's national instrument, and gives Gangar its distinctive sound. The band's mission is to bring traditional Norwegian melodies a wider audience.

Kutkus is sharp riffs and blunt lyrics in a compact format. The trio consisting of Marieke D’hose (accordion and vocals), Laris D’hose (bass and vocals), Suus De Maeyer (drums and vocals) brings eclectic Flemish no wave with a healthy dose of nonsense. None of them can sing, all of them will try. They’ve received positive reviews from both grandmas and non-grandmas

Vi er MEGA stolte og glade for at kunne præsentere vores andet hovednavn på årets festival – nemlig GANGAR🔥

Gangar are known as a formidable live band that consistently delivers shows filled with energy, audience interaction, dancing, and top-shelf musicianship. This combination makes it hard for any audience to keep their feet off of the dance floor. They’ve forged a deep bond with audiences at home and abroad, playing shows all over Europe, Australia, and the USA at renowned festivals and venues such as Rudolstadt Festival in Germany, Sziget Festival in Hungary, Celtic Connections in Scotland, and Port Fairy Folk Festival in Australia.
