Oops Festival A celebration of failure and f*uck ups - November 16-18th 2018 Oops showcases tales of epic fails, historic f*ck ups and humble mistakes from all aspects of life, history, science and pop culture. Follow us here on FB to get your regular dose of fail. In November we meet up in Roskilde, Denmark for a day of exploring different ways to fail. We have two categories of acts, talks and artist. Performing Failure: Classic experiments are repeated (without the fatalities); world records are (possibly) broken and artists, inventors, performers and showmen are invited to attempt different achievements that have an extremely slim chance of success. It is an entertaining and thought provoking spectacle of incidents that will probably go wrong, definitely fail and hopefully f*ck up in the most delightful way. Failure in Performing: Talks and tales about historic fails. Unusable technologies, epic political mistakes and freak accidents in evolutionary biology. Scientist and researchers are invited to speculate about the role of failing in science, economist about budgets that were laughably wrong and marketing people will muse about how to efficiently cover up or explain a glaring error.
