You are asking:
1. I am interested to join, but i am not a LOTR Lore-nerd and don't have the time to build a fancy Umbar soldier/corsair costume or a Harad or Orc - costume?
No problem, there are plenty of possibilities:
You can just play a farmer, a villager (choose your profession), a sailor from a tradingship from Umbar ( just have some blue colour's in your clothes) or a trader from a nearby village.
For all this concepts you don't need detailed and deep lore knowledge and a simple "medieval" costume is totally fine and enough 😊
If you play a native to the region we will give you also some "historic" knowledge and legends in advance, so you have some interesting stories to tell...
If you feel creative, you can also invent your own, just check shortly with us that the stories don't contradict the mainplot😉

2. But, What if i am freezing all the time, it's end of October?
Fair point, in most of the houses we are allowed to make a fire. You will always be able to warm up f. eks. in the tavern or when you visite other groups in "their" house.
For sleeping:
We highly recommend a good floorisolation under your bedding,even if you sleep on a field bed. A rescue blanket (f.eks. car first aid box) is an easy lightweight last minute option for underneath.
