There's always time for some good news 💫⁠

A new project called Make Your Bed! (MUB!), that has been created by one of our organizers Empty Your Wardrobe, peered with DsR Atelier and Warm & Wild, has been SELECTED AS A FINALIST PROJECT by WORTH Partnership Project!⁠
⁠
MUB! aims to create a sustainable fashion collection, reusing textiles obtained in swap markets around Europe which will then be re-dyed naturally and re-designed, giving them a new life. This project is based on the principles of the circular economy, zero waste and artisan techniques.⁠

We are excited that some of the swap events will be launched in Kolding, under the Swap Festival's umbrella, hosted at the Swap Spot, after the situation normalized.🌾

♻️ Even though there is no Swap Festival right now, many of the things are still going on with alot of the events that are part of
the festival. ♻️

Already on Tuesday, January 28th there are Food:RE:Formers volunteer meeting vol. 07

It's going to take place in local 1 D in Bygning 5 - Nicolai.
We can't wait to see you!

Stort tak til alle der var forbi den første Swap Festival i Bygning 5 - Nicolai sidste Lørdag. 🎊Vi havde en god dag hvor vi fik lov at vise jer hvad vi laver og kæmper for. Vi håber også i fik nogle bæredygtige ideer med hjem♻️ og at i havde en skøn dag med gode oplevelser. De kommende dage vil vi poste lidt billeder, så hold øje med siden. 📸

THE PROGRAM

The festival supports the Zero Waste movement, Circular Economy and shows an alternative to our current “throwaway” culture, by letting you swap clothes & food; take part in sustainable workshops during the day and visit a creative exhibition with designs made of waste.

Festivalen støtter Zero Waste bevægelsen, Cirkulær økonomi og forskellige alternativer til den nuværende ”køb og smid væk” kultur vi har i dag ved at bytte tøj og mad, deltage i bæredygtige workshops og få sat tankerne i gang via bæredygtigheds udstillingen.

HOW TO SWAP CLOTHING

1. The swapping event will start at 10:00.

2. Swap worthy Items only! Bring up to 10 items in good condition and get 10 tickets. Seasonal accessories are welcomed - lightly worn shoes, hats, handbags, scarves, jewellery and unopened beauty cosmetics.

3. Arrange your items on the stands by categories – women, men and kids.

4. You can choose for yourself up to 10 pcs that will make you feel trendy.

5. We accept clothes in good condition, with no stains or holes. We do not accept underwear as well as pyjamas. All clothes that look worn and in poor condition will not be exchanged.

6. Please, be aware of the quality of your items! Our Quality Checker will validate your clothes for exchange. Inside, Our Fashion Advisor will help you pick the modest outfit!

HVORDAN MAN BYTTER TØJ

1. Tøjbytte starter klokken 10.00.

2. Byt kun tøj i god stand! Medbring op til 10 stykker beklædning i høj kvalitet og god stand og få udleveret 10 billetter. Sæsonbeklædning og -tilbehør modtages også – let brugte sko, hatte, håndtasker, halstørklæder, smykker og uåbnede skønhedsprodukter.

3. Arranger dine stykker beklædning på standene efter kategori – kvinder, mænd og børn.

4. Du kan selv frit vælge op til 10 stykker beklædning som vil få dig til at føle dig smart.

5. Vi accepterer kun tøj i god stand, ingen pletter eller huller. Vi accepterer ikke undertøj eller nattøj. Tøj eller tilbehør, der ser brugt ud og er i ringe stand, vil ikke blive byttet.

6. Vær venligst opmærksom på kvaliteten af tøjet! Vores Quality Checker vil validere dit tøj for bytte. Indenfor vil vores Fashion Advisor hjælpe dig med at vælge et lækkert outfit!
