Dansk:
Museet, grundlagt i 1981 af John And
English:
Where music, art, and nature meet – we are working to bring the rich musical life back to John’s Hall at the Kirsten Kjærs Museum through concerts, artistic collaborations, and experiences shaped by the surrounding landscape. The Music Association at the Kirsten Kjærs Museum is dedicated to revitalising and developing the musical life at the museum in Northwestern Jutland. We create concerts and artistic encounters between local and international musicians within a vibrant community where music, art, and nature go hand in hand. The museum, founded in 1981 by John Anderson and Harald Fuglsang, carries the motto “love and hard work” – and this spirit lives on in the association’s activities. Our aim is to organise concerts featuring classical, contemporary, and experimental music, cross-disciplinary artistic projects, workshops for children and young people, as well as outdoor concerts in the museum’s scenic surroundings. We strive to make high-quality music once again a living part of the tradition at the Kirsten Kjærs Museum and to create a place where art and community meet.
