Kill-Town Death Fest XI – the “Stage of Decay” edition is over and what an amazing time it was! Once again we managed to gather the tribe from near and far for 4 days of uncompromising music coupled with beers, fun, friends and also a little sunshine…!
We are humbled as ever over all the compliments and positive feedback we have been receiving. We felt the festival was an overall success and everything went smoothly production-wise etc, so we are happy that it seems you feel the same way!
We want to thank all the people who travelled here from around the world to participate and support this event! Without you guys coming every year this would not be possible. We also want you thank you for being the best possible crowd and for making this an unforgettable weekend! We could not be more happy with how this weekend turned out – all thanks to you!
Of course we also want to thank all the bands for performing at the fest and bringing us some incredible concert experiences! We got to witness everything from death metal history to the debut shows of new and upcoming bands! We love to be able to host the whole spectre of bands from classic/legendary to the demo bands of tomorrow!
We also want to express our deepest gratitude to all the volunteers who helped out setting up and taking down the event, the catering crew, our shuttle team, our merch crew and everyone else who helped ut!
This festival would not take place without the massive efforts put by a small number of people who put their blood, sweat and tears into the hard organizational work that goes into organizing a big event; we want to give the biggest thanks to Liz who has been coordinating all the logistics, Steven Ash from Ash Graphic Decay for handling all the graphics, Lisa who has been in charge of all the volunteers, Trine who was in charge of the catering), Clark for the stage management, Kim for handling all the build up and take down of the site, Camilla for being in charge of our merch booth, Ben for being our shuttle coordinator, Christian Edgrusher for coordinating all the DJ’s and the Heavty Thunder Metal Market, Katrine, Ida and Martin for the backstage management and Mathias for the band merch coordination.
We also want to give a big shout to Pumpehuset for being the best venue in Copenhagen for a fest lie ours! We could not be more happy about this wonderful collaboration! Jeff, Mikkel, Loui, Daniel, Thomas and everyone else in there deserves the biggest hugs!
Last but not least big shout outs to all of our collaborators; Slowburn Brewery, The Nameless Cvlt Productions for filming the fest, Devilution, RavenBlack Merchandising, Jens for postering, Makoto for the website maintenance and design, Steel House Copenhagen, Ras for the outside decorations, Loppen, Mephisto, Blood AHrvest, Me S**o Un Ojo, Dark Descent, Everlasting Spew. Also a huge thanks to Thomas Treo for the festival review in Extra Bladet!
We will now start planning next years edition which will take place 2nd – 5th September 2027! See you next year here in Copenhagen!
