Get those calendars out! The next classic, high-energy Speedfriending event is officially locked in:

When: Saturday, November 29th
Time: 15:30 - 18:00 (A perfect start to your Saturday night!)

Get ready for the fast-paced, super-fun format where you'll meet dozens of new, open-minded people in one dynamic afternoon. It's the ultimate "tasting menu" for new friends!

The official Facebook event and ticket link will go online early next week, but I wanted to give you all the heads-up here first.

This will be the last Mr Speedfriending event in 2025 and we will start up again in february of 2026. So it will be a while :-)

Hey ,
i'm currently trying to find a good venue for the next speedfriending event. Right now im looking at the evening of 29th of November. unfortunately our usual haunts are not availabe that week så I'm looking at other places.

Thank you so much for a wonderful evening yesterday 🙏 I REALLY enjoyed our talks about how we can create even better connection to people in our lives.

I want to incorporate more of this kind of "Connection Lab" talks into the concept of speedfriending. So we don't just meet a bunch of people but together build a world where effortless connection happens automatically.

Imagine if we together could build a "Culture of Hello" where its easy and normal to just start conversations with each other in all areas of our lives. It can start at these events where its just the default mode that conversation is welcome and normal. but just think if we could expand these fun little engagements beyond that.

What if it became normal to just say a simple "Hello" in Denmark, like it is in other parts of the world?

A lot of you have been writing about when we will have new events and it’s awesome to feel the energy on this, I promise I’m planning new events for October 😃🙌🏼
My September has been very hectic with lots of travel, retreats and new education starting so it’s been a lot. All very good stuff but a lot. (I need sleep..!😆)
But I’m eyeing the 17th or 18th of Oct right now, if I can get a place booked for it. So maybe pencil that in if you can 🙂
I’m sooo looking forward to hanging out with all of you again soon!

Hey gang,
After the amazing vibe at our last Slowfriending event, I wanted to talk a little bit about how we turn those first chats into real friendships. This is where The Buddy Group comes in.

Think of it like this:

🍽️ The Mr. Speedfriending event is a fantastic gourmet restaurant where you get to sample many amazing dishes (people!).

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 The Buddy Group is the cozy, family-owned spot where you go back to savor the flavors you loved the most.

It’s SERIOUSLY the easiest way to get a great friend group rolling. Here’s how it works:

* You opt-in after the event (totally optional, but highly recommended!).
* I personally curate a group of 3-6 people based on your matches and shared interests.
* I book a table for your group at a cozy Copenhagen cafe for the following Sunday from 14:00-15:30.
* Your only job is to show up!

Making deep friendships does take time and the buddygroups are where you can take those first chats into fulfledged friendships with people you have things in common with.

"Have you felt how many Danes can be very polite, yet it can still feel hard to connect?

Next time you can, observe the last piece of cake at any Danish social function. You'll see it sliced into thinner and thinner slivers, because no one wants to be the one who takes the last piece, just in case someone else wanted it.

That small act reveals a deep cultural secret: in Denmark, many of us are consciously or unconsciously raised with an unspoken rule: "don't bother people". This also means we have a quiet fear of being imposed upon by others. It’s a two-way street of respect that can sometimes come off as indifference to newcomers. A wall built from good intentions.

It could be a fear of putting you in the position of having to decline an invite. It could be a worry that you won't have fun at a party if people slip into Danish.

So there can sometimes be a polite shield that can feel cold. But what if you could just… walk right past it?

You need a clear invitation to connect—a place designed specifically to help you build that great network. Mr. Speedfriending is that place. It’s a dedicated space where everyone has explicitly agreed to connect, so the fear of 'imposing' is gone, allowing genuine warmth to shine through.
